Thanks Oliver. It’s a bit of a complicated one and probably won’t work perfectly for you but hopefully gives a steer and gives an idea of how it all works.
Hello dear, have you abandoned us? Your tutorials on Divi are among the most interesting on the web and indicate great passion and great professionalism. We wait for you ...
That is very kind. No, not abandoned but have had a month or so of non-stop website building and no spare time to make videos! I am working on a 'Top Tips' one now though for next week.
It's on the list but at the moment I still have a full-time day job and its going to take some time to put together. The plan is to retire next year and then I'll be able to focus on producing more.
Really enjoy your divi tutorials. Useful and different from what you normally see on the web. Thanks for the pro approach. Please keep them coming. Don't stop!
Oh my goodness! This is exactly what I needed. I am so glad I stumbled over your channel. Did I subscribe? You bet I did 💕 I love your "dry" (no offence) way of presentation. No frills, when none needed!
Thank you for those very kind words and your sub. The "dry" (no offence taken!) style just seems to have evolved and people seem to appreciate the lack of waffle. Hopefully lots more soon as I have a bit more time available.
Hi Hazel. If you mean for individual posts then these are the steps: 1. Create a new template in the theme builder 2. Set this to apply to "all posts" 3. Click to add "custom body 4. Insert a "post title" module 5. Use the settings to adjust the styling/spacing of the title When you display a post this will then use the template to format the post.
Just noticed after apply the CSS on a new blog site I'm building that this CSS /* Sets default top margin for all text module items */ /* Look for anything that has anything before it */ .txt-mod-spacing * + * { padding: 0; margin-top: 0.8em; } Removes the spacing on the Accordion module making it look very squashed
I'm wondering how you modify the css for the order list so if a list item has a second row, the second row is indented the same as the first. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
@@divicoaching Thank you for the reply. The list-style-position was already set to 'outside' in your code that I copied. When I tried to set it separately, it didn't make any difference. The second lines still did not indent. /* Sets spacing between marker (number) and text in OL */ .my-spacing ol li::before { content: ""; padding-left: 1em; list-style-position: outside; } I'm not sure what I'm doing incorrectly. I reviewed the documentation but I couldn't figure out how to set it.
That was Great adjustment. The default Divi spacing style is horrible and not mobile friendly . I would like to see the same adjustment concept on more modules, like Person Module. Also it is good in the future to make a child theme with all that adjustment.
Thank you so much for sharing that I enjoyed every bit of it and is very useful
Thank you for this Nissim. This was much more detailed than previous videos but such an important topic for Divi. I hope people stick with it!
Really useful video, very easy to follow especially being able to copy and paste the CSS. Thanks
Thanks Oliver. It’s a bit of a complicated one and probably won’t work perfectly for you but hopefully gives a steer and gives an idea of how it all works.
This is one of the best divi tutorials I have seen. Many thanks!
Thank you Rafa. That is very good to hear. I was worried the amount of CSS would put people off but this is a topic that is requested a lot.

I learnt a lot from this. I’m surprised you don’t make a tutorial on Udemy.

Thank you! I will definately keep going but have been snowed under with work so need to make some time to make more... but I'm working on it!
Thanks Julia.
Great, thank you so much.
Thank you for watching!
Thank you so much! Super helpful and clear!!
Thank you Marianne. A bit of a tricky one to explain as the way this works is not super intuitive from the get go!
Thank you so very much. I was getting frustrated trying to figure out how to make the CSS uniform.
Glad you found this useful! Frustration comes to us all. It's great to find a solution when you've been hunting for a while.
Wow, Paul 🙌 This is so valuable and useful. Thank you so so much!
Thank you Rikke. I know the CSS is quite a bit more complicated, but it is so useful to be able to control the text module properly.

Great one
Thank you!
You are awesome. Amazing, useful tutorial 💯
Thank you 🙌
Thanks for this tutorial!
Thanks Sabine. I hope you found it helpful.
Excellent work.
Thank you!
Presets rock!
They do!
My issue is the Blog Post Title...how do you adjust the spacing or height of the Page title?
Hi Hazel. If you mean for individual posts then these are the steps:

2. Set this to apply to "all posts"
3. Click to add "custom body
4. Insert a "post title" module

/* Sets default top margin for all text module items */
/* Look for anything that has anything before it */
.txt-mod-spacing * + * {
padding: 0;
margin-top: 0.8em;
}
Removes the spacing on the Accordion module making it look very squashed
Oh, I'll have a look at that. Not sure why it is affecting that module!
I'm wondering how you modify the css for the order list so if a list item has a second row, the second row is indented the same as the first. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
You can set list-style-position to 'outside'. See here. developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/CSS/list-style-position
@@divicoaching Thank you for the reply. The list-style-position was already set to 'outside' in your code that I copied. When I tried to set it separately, it didn't make any difference. The second lines still did not indent.

Oh I'll have to give it more.thought. It's been a good while since I made that one and forgot exactly.what I did!

Thank you Adham. I agree a Child Theme which all of this would be good. I better make one!
