They probably put hairspray in their hair first. Even though they toss their hair all over, it goes back in place.

Am an Aussie USC Trojans fan from way back and will hopefully be attending a Trojans game when I'm in LA in Sept/October 2022. The band's version of my all time favourite song, "Sing Sing Sing" as my toes tapping every time I hear it

For those that don't know - the girls in white were "Song Girls" - not Cheer Leaders. They have cheer leaders - but they lead cheers - they aren't the ones dancing.

I really thought as this was homecoming and with Dr. Bartner retiring after FIFTY YEARS as band director the members would have prepared a surprise for him, broke ranks and would have given it to him or at least gave a little speech about him or something. I mean just think. He was actually the band director back in '79 when the USC band appeared in the Tusk video with Fleetwood Mac and actually is seen several times throughout the video! I can't get over how young he looks. But yet he WAS only 38 years old then and he turns 80 next week!

Let’s face it, there are gorgeous cheerleaders EVERYWHERE (especially in the SEC😉), but “someone” has been extremely astute in keeping those young ladies in the iconic white sweaters & the frilly-type skirts. Here in the Midwest & elsewhere, the gals nowadays all wear the two-piece skin tight uniforms....which leaves absolutely nothing to the imagination. But the Song Girls?? Wowza!!😳😳And leave it to LA to be sharper attuned to the male libido than the rest of the country - LOL.

No need to use exclamation points lol, but they’re also known as spirit and dance team. They perform and cheer.
The talented young women in this video are "SONG" LEADERS not 'cheerleaders'.The cheerleaders wear the dark, all cardinal red, have megaphones and do gymnastics. The women in the mostly all-white uniforms who DANCE (hint) are Song Leaders.
Your average College/University marching band with mediocre jumping Cheerleaders.
