IF people were following the faith and were not in poor condition they would not have to install something to prevent from stealing. That tells a lot about the situation of the place and the double standard of the religions. Take care of your people and they'll not have to steal instead of installing such devices.
Firstly there is no evidence to that in Hadith, this is very similar to having prayer mat fold or iblis will pray on it. Secondly The pious tomb should be buried so people don't go and worship or ask graves to grant something. If graves could grant something then no need to ask Allah. the only thing is when you go to graves of any person Muslims or non Muslims one can not stand on it. Please learn your Deen for your own good.

Dear sister it's my humble request to you u can't put leg spread toward Qibla and any pious and spritual tomp of any Waliullah
