I’m Latina and honestly, Maria looks so busted. Paris has gems falling off her left and right. Roxie is GORGEOUS but her dress is plain and she’s soooo overpriced. Kia is OK but feels very dated. Jett I LOVE because I redressed mine and she looks amazing redressed in goth aesthetic. I think hands down, the best collector doll for your money and what you get is Lily. She’s not busted or falling apart, she’s a decent price for how much you get, and she’s STUNNING.

All of these dolls are fantastic in comparison to other dolls on the market. Rainbow high/MGA has consistently delivered when it comes to their dolls and quality. As someone who collects dolls...my jaw dropped when I saw Maria in person. Her and Lily definitely have earned the right to be called "collector dolls". Can't wait to see what else RH has in store. And people need to have patience, many of these dolls go on deep clearance so you don't necessarily have to pay high prices for these ladies.

Also Maria would be great for me if they picked a purple that was the same saturation and intensity as the dress Because her hair now I feel clashes with the red because they are not on the same gamut.

Paris is my favorite. She’s coming in the mail tomorrow. I’m so excited! Personally, as a collector doll, I don’t think she’s overpriced at all, in fact I think it’s completely reasonable for an adult collector celebrity doll. Now, Monster high collector dolls are cheap and over priced, rainbow high is quality. Which I will admit, I think her boots and gems falling off is outrageous. Like mga do better on that! I personally don't think any of the dolls are worth the price they were sold at, definitely if we look at the normal €30 dolls. Why do we have to pay extra for diversity? And then controversial representation at that (Chinese and Mexican people have expressed their discomfort about Lily and Maria). But as an international collector, the prices hit us more as we can't just get them on sale as they barely exist here 😅 They're gorgeous dolls, but I'll never get them (money-wise it wouldn't be responsible of me to get them for the prices they are, I only got Kia when she was €35 and I was already so upset about it... That was before the normal dolls had their price-hike)

I mean I’ve been to plenty of day of the dead festival and celebration where mariachi inspired and rose adorned women are present. And the rose represents love and passion. Obviously the marigold is the most significant flower used in the celebration, but that doesn’t mean the rose can’t be used in representation.
