What's gonna make KC a dynasty is the Patrick Mahomes contract. His unselfish contract is flexible to keep talent around him. A wide-out core with Hill - Hardman and Kelce that loves sharing the ball. NO drama queens I need the ball every down receivers. Then you factor in a great team owner with the Hunt family, a great GM Brett Veach that knows how to add talent, a great coach in Andy Reid that knows how to get to the big dance. I'm excited 😁 for the next 10yrs in the Chiefs Kingdom.

How about the Buffalo Bills with Jim Kelly? I would call them a dynasty too. Four AFC championships. Missed the playoffs twice between '88 and '99.
We won't know until it's said and done. It took NE over 20 yrs. SF the 80's, Dallas the 90's after already having 2 on the books. You gotta take 1 season at a time. Let's put a pin in this until February of next year.

How many teams have had sustained success since the salary cap? 49ers, Steelers, Cowboys, GB stacked HoFers to go on their runs. The best we've had for sustained success in the salary cap era outside of NE is probably the Steelers and we don't consider them a dynasty. You're expecting the level of dominance equal to a dynasty to now suddenly appear? Andy couldn't make a dynasty happen with the Eagles it's not likely he does it here.

You need a front office that can draft well. While Seattle has a great organization they missed on a lot of picks and that caused them to "fall off". Even then they have double digit wins the 7 our of 8 years... It's not like they suck. With all that said the Chiefs front office has been doing an amazing job finding talent and there's no reason to believe they won't continue that.

I've always been under the impression that a football dynasty is winning the championship 3 out 4 consecutive seasons.
@brosif29 Nobody calls the Broncos from Elway's last 2 seasons a dynasty and they won back to back Super Bowls. Nobody started calling the Patriots a dynasty until they won their 3rd. I guess it's just subjective.

@what Much credit to RW but DAMN Lamar looked good. You gotta remember that none of his offense were pro bowlers until his performance last year. STs and defense had prior pro bowlers. I definitely agree that Lamar raised that offense drastically. Remember that receivers didn't even wanna go there until after last year.
If Wilson won it I wouldn't be mad, he has definitely been cheated out of an MVP because he has been carrying in a tough division for a few years.

The Chiefs have always been a thorn under the Broncos' saddle. Even when John was playing. We usually split and won at home. But don't forget Denver's history. 8 Super Bowls since 78-79. How many other teams can claim that. Bronco's fans love that KC got one. Havn't seen that since i was in high school in the early 70's.Never underestimate the Bronco's you'll lose.
Been to 8 and won 3. Chiefs are only back 1. Coming for that 3rd.

The Covid farce has unfortunately affected all of the NFL. The last Dynasty's i can remember in the NFL are the Packers, Cowboys, 49r's, Steelers. But these mostly seem to be centered around outstanding QB's or offences. Coaches are much ignored except for Vince Lombardi.
What how can you not add in the Patriots and “hoodie” on those lists. And I hate the pats but dam if Bill and Toms 9 suberbowl shows to win 6 rings isn’t a dynasty nothing else is!
Hope that they are complacent and just go away for awhile. But we know that's not happening.

KC won’t be a dynasty because their division will be tuff for years to come. The Raiders,Chargers and Broncos all have bright futures. Tbh I wouldn’t be shocked if they don’t even win 10 games this yr. The Pats Dynasty was due to the fact that the AFC East was weak throughout the 2000’s. Y’all are already so eager to crown KC because Pat Mahomes is the media darling right now. But in reality the Ravens organization and culture is more likely to be the Patriots of the 2020s.....

Reid took over a 4-12 team basically and never had a losing season with them. Only once have we been sub 10 wins since Reid got here, and we went 9-7
2-14. KC won 2 games in 2012. I know because I went to a game they actually won that year. They were so bad, I got buy one get one free. CAR vs. KC the day after Belcher blew his brains out in the parking lot of the practice facility.

@@dalehammers4425 No. The 2-14 season was Romeo Crennel's last season as Chiefs head coach. We had the #1 overall pick Reid's first season in 2013. We got Eric Fisher with that pick.

brosif29 yeah and and that eagles team built by Andy Reid that was inherited basically/mostly to go win a Super Bowl after he was gone and Andy was busy building another champion team out of what had been a horrible chiefs team that was worst in the league when he took over. Andy took over a 2-14 team and immediately made the playoffs every year but 1 and had winning seasons every year in KC! People sometimes forget about the coaching tree Andy creates. Andy had an amazing run with the Eagles even if he didn’t win the Super Bowl with them.
I’d say the BILLS (Boy I Love Losing Super Bowls ) were a dynasty. They were dominating for years on end and went to a lot of Super Bowls. They just couldn’t beat them Boys.
Joshua Leasure Yeah, I’ve always felt really bad for the Bills. They should’ve had at LEAST one, if not a couple SB rings. I think people forget how good those Bills teams were back then. Definitely terrorized the AFC.
