The Pi you got from your own activity will unlock and the Pi you got from referrals that also passed KYC. Only the Pi you got from referrals that didn't pass KYC will eventually be burned.

No matter how small the chance is that the project ever succeeds. A great example of a project that is most likely a pure waste of time would be Midoin which made zero progress for almost 5 years to become a cryptocurrency and now suddenly announced that they will launch their token soon.

My personal opinion is that you don't lose anything with any of these apps as far as pressing a button once per day goes. Once each project launches their KYC stage you have to check if they use a trusted third-party for that or if they ask you to send your ID directly to them and then decide based on that. I would have loved to go into more detail about all the projects but then the video would be more than one hour long. Don't forget that I also already covered most of the projects mentioned in dedicated videos that you can find if you look for "Christian Rauchenwald " here on TH-cam and if you are not certain you can just go with the top 3 projects mentioned in this video because they are, as mentioned, the ones I believe have the highest chance of succeeding.

Either way, considering that they picked ERC-20 and not some more complicated but low-fee blockchain to launch and that their marketplace is still scam-infested it doesn't change that much. However, if they also clean up their marketplace the project makes a sudden from "likely waste of time" to "ahead of most other projects".
They said the Pi will be in market in 2021 now they are saying it will be in 2022 or even 2023 for me this is not worth it at keeping this app for years & those coins we mine the rest will buy for few dollars without draining the battery of ur phone & hoping that we will make money with pi is just a lie
