That's true I love fishing for wild carp. There a challenge and there hard fighting fish. The goo and those glugs are just crap. They catch the anglers not the fish.

No, they’re not a common food source here in the UK, there is a few stories of Eastern European’s smuggling out the big ones to take home and eat, from day ticket fisheries which is a shame for the rest of us fishermen
why bother with all this, rivers and natural lakes already have fish in them? I don't understand how catching one of these from a commercial can be satisfying
