Hi Chaz. Sorry to hear that! Anaesthetic cream is applied prior to treatment so the skin is numbed and the filler itself contains Lidocaine to numb from within. Patients often feel a sharp scratch to begin with, but the procedure is otherwise comfortable. We're happy to answer any questions you might have! - VIVA

Hi there. We wouldn't recommend strenuous exercise for a few days following treatment but once any swelling or bruising has subsided, you're safe to resume your normal activities. Any trauma along the jaw may effect results but one of our doctors can discuss this fully with you if you're interested. - VIVA
