Great thanks to Dr. Jonathan Rose and his colleagues for putting in their time into translating his Latin work. ....I was amazed how angels or spirits can communicate with us in different ways. From time to time, when I am at peace, and I think of Jehovah and the birds and the trees, I get a good feeling which I think is Gods love. Unfortunately, it doesn’t last long and then my thinking is focused on myself, the present time, what I see and what I must do, etc. But that feeling of love is from Jehovah mercy.
Julian, I think we have to believe in those moments of peace and good feelings as a very real communication from God and heaven. During earthly life, it's hard to hang onto them, but Swedenborg gives us hope that it will be much more vivid and lasting when we cross over. Yes, those feelings of genuine love are indeed straight from God's love and mercy!

Curtis, you are spot on. The love being conveyed by a spiritual being originates from Our Lord, the King of Love. Seven years ago, at the time, my 20 year old team leader from work died in his sleep at home. Months later he visited me while i eas sleeping, where all manner of loving communication takes place. My team leader, back in our true home said" I love you Tim." I woke up as I always do, grateful that I was given the personal gift. I only receive the message by conveyance, not speech. Years before that I had an angel visit me with a message. I saw him speak, again not understanding the message until I awoke. " Life's a joke, lighten up!." There was ongoing stress in my life, the Lord sent him with a message. In that short visit, there was so much love, comfort, and concern. I did lighten up and have been trying my best to stick with the message. Language here and Spirit are not similar. Love knows no limits. I know that beyond certain.

Spirits having different accents makes perfect sense, yet I suspect most people don’t realize that. This concept called Curse of Knowledge prevents human beings from understanding the spirit world. We can’t let go of earthly concepts that restrict our understanding of what the spirit world could be like. And the difficulty in expressing spirit language in English words can be demonstrated by examining our own language. I could say I’m happy, or more specifically giddy, or enthralled, or ecstatic. Therefore there must be an endless array of specific states or emotions in the spirit world so laser-like specific that they cannot be conveyed directly in English words and thoughts. The Way Spirits Talk and How It Varies - News From Heaven - confirms for me that we are hearing from spirits now. The reading also confirms by being so specific - in details I admit I found difficult to understand - that Swedenborg surely was living in both worlds. I also thought this morning about how we say when we are shocked “What got into them and what on earth could have possessed them to do such a thing, cause such a thing, think that, say such a thing?!!?” - and how I now understand just what has been allowed in to influence another. All your episodes and their consequent effects on me are that I am constantly mulling them over in my mind. They have become my constant companions which is a blessing beyond price. For me one of the grandest, most important and freeing truths the Writings give us is that we can consciously become co-creators of our eternal destiny. That we can improve our eternal chances for heavenly peace and happiness is of the greatest import to me. I am so happy and willing to compel myself to change my focus toward what is inward, good and heavenly that I could jump for joy at the thought of this most golden of opportunities. What a wonderful Truth to come into!! I am happy to examine myself, and to pray I will be reformed into a cleaner, worthier vessel that is aimed at and focused on the Lord. It's rare for me to get sentances. I get pictures and thoughts. It's like some one telling you something and then you remembering it. So it's like remembering a thought that isn't yours. A lot of information in a few seconds.

I always feel like the first thought we have - what we call intuition- is a thought coming straight from god, since our brain can work like an anntenna. The very next moment we start thinking , analysing and so on its different, then its us and whatever is part of us in that moment. i never thought about that accent thing, but i will keep a focus on it.
Our brain sure is an antenna, and the problem is, it can sometimes be tuned to first pick up a good, intuitive thought from God, or, sometimes it can be tuned to a low frequency and pick up a knee-jerk first impulse or thought that is negative. So, that's why we do need to do some reflecting and discerning about what comes into our minds!
When spirit is talking to me we have a real conversation (question and answer) When I first began hearing spirts I heard Evil spirits first, I think that was to discourage me and create fear. I did notice in the beginning that the evil voices came from the outside. Now I can sense their evil energy before they speak.

There are a couple things in Swedenborg’s teachings that stump me. One is that traditional prayers are not answered by God. I understand we should only desire God’s will and trust in His divine providence, but I must say... I really miss prayer. I guess, I still really believe that prayer works. I have had many prayers (large and small) answered over the years. And after many years of prayer (health issues), Angels-The Lord did infact speak an audible word as an answer to prayer. The word “Colonix”. But perhaps this is an exception, as the word Colonix does not contain double consonants?
Hi Annie! I don't think Swedenborg would want you to stop praying - especially if your prayers are answered, that points to a powerful divine connection, in my opinion! I think the idea is that your prayers will be heard if they are from a place of love, i.e. "Dear Lord, give me a Ferrarri," vs. "Dear Lord, please help my dear friend..." only one of those is a prayer with real substance. (= Any spiritual tools that are powerful for you, especially something like prayer, is so worth maintaining in your life because that meaning is real! Hi there Annie; never ever let anything take your heart away from prayer in your Spirit. We will never meet anyone greater or lesser than our own Spirit. When we pray we attend to the connect. We are Spirits in forms made of clay. The teacher within you will always be greater than the teacher without you. Our personal Spirits are far more in tune with Christ (Heavenly Father/Mother) than any outward teacher that has ever been. This includes the flesh Jesus who spoke in flesh form. Even He knew it was better for us all to be in tune with our own Spirits that have direct access to the all. If your Spirit urges you to pray....then listen to it. Always place it first, no matter what things to the contrary appear.
For every thought there is a thinker! If it didn’t come from you it came from Spirit or Demon. I look at it like this. Example: One of your siblings comes into your bedroom and says”Stand up, put your coat on and take a shower” Now, you may laugh and say get out of my room. Now keep the words and subtract the physical body. You can’t deny you heard someone speak . You hear it in thought form only because you can’t see a physical body. Most people dismiss it or claim the idea as their own because they lack self awareness or they haven’t reach a higher level of consciousness. If that makes sense🤷🏽♀️

We all end up where our true loves are. If that true love is destroying others we end up in what we call hell. If it is helping others we end up in heaven. If we are complicated we end up in the world of spirits to sort those things out.

I'm confused. I've watched many videos on this channel but had never read any of the swedenborg material. I downloaded the pdf file link in the description and began reading about hell and the many "punishments" meted out there. These included things like being put on a rack and having your body ripped to shreds. I guess my understanding was that when we transition from this world to the next, we end up in a place we identify with. Long story short, my understanding was that hell is actually an absence of god, while heaven is closeness with god. I've never seen any video where punishments such as being tortured were mentioned. Can someone explain to me where I've gone wrong? It seems like this (horrible punishments) would've been a great topic during one of the videos on what thing can be like on the other side or in hell, but nothing like this was ever mentioned. I'm now a bit confused.

Sweedenborg believes that our emotional state and what we truly love determines where we end up. A person who loves evil will choose hell. A person who loves doing good will choose heaven. The false pretenses all drop off after death. You can no longer pretend to be something you are not. But that doesn't mean you can't grow. So our loves lead to heaven or hell but our sins do not. We are not punished rather we inflict it on ourselves by our true emotional state after death. Our true desire whether to harm or help. That is the Sweedenborg view.
@@gorillaninja78 Gods kingdom encompasses everything, good and what we call evil. Here we listen and choose what we believe is true and what is fun to do. When you give up the body Christ tells you why everything is the way it is and what is true and what is only information you can use in the physical world. If you take the truth, you advance. If you want to believe what you learnt as a physical body and mind you will go and live with others who believe the same. It would be living in falsity. When you come to terms with the truth you can gradually advance to a higher spiritual state.

The Way Spirits Talk and How It Varies - News From Heaven - confirms for me that we are hearing from spirits now. The reading also confirms by being so specific - in details I admit I found difficult to understand - that Swedenborg surely was living in both worlds. I also thought this morning about how we say when we are shocked “What got into them and what on earth could have possessed them to do such a thing, cause such a thing, think that, say such a thing?!!?” - and how I now understand just what has been allowed in to influence another. All your episodes and their consequent effects on me are that I am constantly mulling them over in my mind. They have become my constant companions which is a blessing beyond price. For me one of the grandest, most important and freeing truths the Writings give us is that we can consciously become co-creators of our eternal destiny. That we can improve our eternal chances for heavenly peace and happiness is of the greatest import to me. I am so happy and willing to compel myself to change my focus toward what is inward, good and heavenly that I could jump for joy at the thought of this most golden of opportunities. What a wonderful Truth to come into!! I am happy to examine myself, and to pray I will be reformed into a cleaner, worthier vessel that is aimed at and focused on the Lord. I hope and pray I will be open to the blessed influence from His angels, good spirits and heavenly communities that are with me, and can become an instrument for good in passing along what comes into me. Despite my joy and gladness in this revelation, I am also challenged to put my trust in the Lord concerning His leading US ALL on our own path to Him and His Kingdom. When first I came to the joy of Swedenborg I very enthusiastically talked about the revelations from the Writings to a very dear and close friend. It didn’t harm our relationship for which I am so grateful - but these ideas of the earthly opportunity for taking personal responsibility for our ultimate reward were seen as scary and uninviting - even repulsive, unjust and punitive. I have a few other times mentioned ever so gently this idea of opportunity through personal action and can see from these occasions that unless there is some curiosity about it - it is truly best to live and let live, trusting in the Lord’s Wisdom, Love and Divine Providence - and to just be very grateful for the path I have been given which brings me such joy and peace every day. Blessings to all you dear workers in the Lord’s vineyard who strive so faithfully to bring us the Good News! ❤️

Great Thank you good Curtis, I feel you are a great person had bad head weather today lol, and this episode really helped out, I know this to be true, but one thing I have learned is you cannot change people even if you want to as we have a hard enough time as it is changing ourselves, but you can suggest your point of view and try to draw those that will listen to your point of view, however if it is rejected just know that it is not your fault and you should hold steadfast to what you strongly feel in your heart to be true, because after all, the truth is the truth and luckily for us it is a bright and good truth and it is too bad that so many cannot see it clearly, there is fog and bad head weather on the horizon lol that we all might succumb to on a daily basis so this news from heaven is far better than the teleprompter news of more and more devastation. But don't worry about having bad thoughts - we can't control what pops into our brain (Swedenborg would say that unpleasant or cruel thoughts are not ours, but from evil spirits, while loving and pleasant thoughts are from angels). What we CAN do is choose what thoughts we operate from, and ruminate on. Nixing the bad ones takes practice, they are very convincing, but we can do it!

I always feel like the first thought we have - what we call intuition- is a thought coming straight from god, since our brain can work like an anntenna. The very next moment we start thinking , analysing and so on its different, then its us and whatever is part of us in that moment. i never thought about that accent thing, but i will keep a focus on it.
Our brain sure is an antenna, and the problem is, it can sometimes be tuned to first pick up a good, intuitive thought from God, or, sometimes it can be tuned to a low frequency and pick up a knee-jerk first impulse or thought that is negative. So, that's why we do need to do some reflecting and discerning about what comes into our minds!
When spirit is talking to me we have a real conversation (question and answer) When I first began hearing spirts I heard Evil spirits first, I think that was to discourage me and create fear. I did notice in the beginning that the evil voices came from the outside. Now I can sense their evil energy before they speak.

There are a couple things in Swedenborg’s teachings that stump me. One is that traditional prayers are not answered by God. I understand we should only desire God’s will and trust in His divine providence, but I must say... I really miss prayer. I guess, I still really believe that prayer works. I have had many prayers (large and small) answered over the years. And after many years of prayer (health issues), Angels-The Lord did infact speak an audible word as an answer to prayer. The word “Colonix”. But perhaps this is an exception, as the word Colonix does not contain double consonants?
Hi Annie! I don't think Swedenborg would want you to stop praying - especially if your prayers are answered, that points to a powerful divine connection, in my opinion! I think the idea is that your prayers will be heard if they are from a place of love, i.e. "Dear Lord, give me a Ferrarri," vs. "Dear Lord, please help my dear friend..." only one of those is a prayer with real substance. (= Any spiritual tools that are powerful for you, especially something like prayer, is so worth maintaining in your life because that meaning is real!
I don't know what "Colonix" means, but I am sure it is personal to you and so the significance will become apparent. I'm not sure what you mean about double consonants? Tell me more about that.

Hi there Annie; never ever let anything take your heart away from prayer in your Spirit. We will never meet anyone greater or lesser than our own Spirit. When we pray we attend to the connect. We are Spirits in forms made of clay. The teacher within you will always be greater than the teacher without you. Our personal Spirits are far more in tune with Christ (Heavenly Father/Mother) than any outward teacher that has ever been. This includes the flesh Jesus who spoke in flesh form. Even He knew it was better for us all to be in tune with our own Spirits that have direct access to the all. If your Spirit urges you to pray....then listen to it. Always place it first, no matter what things to the contrary appear.
For every thought there is a thinker! If it didn’t come from you it came from Spirit or Demon. I look at it like this. Example: One of your siblings comes into your bedroom and says”Stand up, put your coat on and take a shower” Now, you may laugh and say get out of my room.
Now keep the words and subtract the physical body. You can’t deny you heard someone speak . You hear it in thought form only because you can’t see a physical body. Most people dismiss it or claim the idea as their own because they lack self awareness or they haven’t reach a higher level of consciousness. If that makes sense🤷🏽♀️

We all end up where our true loves are. If that true love is destroying others we end up in what we call hell. If it is helping others we end up in heaven. If we are complicated we end up in the world of spirits to sort those things out.

I'm confused. I've watched many videos on this channel but had never read any of the swedenborg material. I downloaded the pdf file link in the description and began reading about hell and the many "punishments" meted out there. These included things like being put on a rack and having your body ripped to shreds. I guess my understanding was that when we transition from this world to the next, we end up in a place we identify with. Long story short, my understanding was that hell is actually an absence of god, while heaven is closeness with god. I've never seen any video where punishments such as being tortured were mentioned. Can someone explain to me where I've gone wrong? It seems like this (horrible punishments) would've been a great topic during one of the videos on what thing can be like on the other side or in hell, but nothing like this was ever mentioned. I'm now a bit confused.

Does Sweedenborg mean THERE IS NO HELL ? God forgives us all, Even Stalin. Hitler, ect.
Sweedenborg believes that our emotional state and what we truly love determines where we end up. A person who loves evil will choose hell. A person who loves doing good will choose heaven. The false pretenses all drop off after death. You can no longer pretend to be something you are not. But that doesn't mean you can't grow. So our loves lead to heaven or hell but our sins do not. We are not punished rather we inflict it on ourselves by our true emotional state after death. Our true desire whether to harm or help. That is the Sweedenborg view.

@@gorillaninja78 Gods kingdom encompasses everything, good and what we call evil. Here we listen and choose what we believe is true and what is fun to do. When you give up the body Christ tells you why everything is the way it is and what is true and what is only information you can use in the physical world. If you take the truth, you advance. If you want to believe what you learnt as a physical body and mind you will go and live with others who believe the same. It would be living in falsity. When you come to terms with the truth you can gradually advance to a higher spiritual state.
