Very good interview and thank you! Great comments from others on here as well. It further strengthened my resolve to support the PAC2 and my beloved Cougs and The Beavs. Both schools deserve good things to happen for them.

It is refreshing to hear what is going on and not click bait. Thanks to 2John for separating the wheat from the chaff and getting more clarity not mindless chatter. I (hope) think this gal is the right person for the job, too bad we didn’t have her last year, things might have been different.

I am impressed with Teresa Gould! As an OSU Alum, I am super happy she is fighting for the Pac-12. One has to wonder how things would be different if she had been commissioner all along? Often people are promoted and recruited into positions of power because of their bravado and connections, not because of substance of their work. Gould seems to be much more substantive and she strikes me as the right person for the current job.

make a commercial to be run during the cw games, "what do you do when your partner says they want to see other people? do you crawl into a ball? do you whine and moan? Do you give up? No, you work! you work on yourself (show practice clips) you get inspired (show defensive clips), you put yourself out there, (clips of long passes) you work, work, work. Eventually you'll score. The Pac-12, we're still here, and we're working, we'll be ready for you!" run it every Pac-12 game

John, are we *sure* the NCAA grace period ends 6/30/26? If the grace period is 2 years, and the PAC didn’t drop to fewer than 8 teams until 8/2/24, wouldn’t our grace period extend to 8/2/26?
This is important because the settlement agreement says that, in order to keep the war chest, the PAC has to survive through the end of FY 2026, which the settlement identifies as 6/30/26.
So if the PAC survives to 7/1/26 without dissolution, and the NCAA grace period doesn’t end for another month (8/2/26), wouldn’t the schools be able to keep the war chest as of 7/1/26 and then dissolve the conference (perhaps to join another conference) sometime between 7/1/26 and 8/1/26?

I would ask if they could apply for a 1 year waiver and if that’s a possibility are they already preparing for that scenario?

@@keithstone6283 A waiver is on the table. Have heard it whispered about. (JC)
