Lots of people will probably comment this isn't America without Beckley. May Beckley retire in peace. He's been a road warrior for decades. Bunnel is still there, he sings half of the songs. Since he is still co-owner of the name "America" I would think he would keep touring as America, as I don't think touring as "Bunnel and the Bunnettes" would draw the same crowd.
If you go to their website, Gerry is still in the band but has retired from touring to be with his family, still America in a new incarnation, the fans loved this show including Andy Barr on guitar, keys, and vocals.
I even miss Dan Peek, but the music lives on. America's 1st album was one of the greatest !!!!

I was at the show and it was fantastic but I have to listen to knuckleheads post their opinions who weren’t there. Dewey was great. Loved the show.
Of course I was there to do the video, not a dissatisfied fan in the crowd!

Beckley’s voice can’t be matched. Some groups can get by with it but America just doesn’t sound the same and “close enough” doesn’t cut it with me.

Yes it is, he's the main player and it's his band, things change over 50 years, when no original members, you can then call a tribute band.
