Thanks for the chapter! The pacing is fast but I do kinda like it. It doesn't beat around the bush at all, which is nice since some longer fics stay on one plot point too long. Some parts are really rushed though. I wonder if there's a part the author really wanted to get to and they rushed to get to that? I do feel like Hitoshi opened up surprisingly fast about what happens at the foster home in comparison to how guarded and closed off he was being. Not that it's completely unrealistic if done right, but I'd have loved to have seen even just a bit more of his thought process to get from being afraid to get a glass of water and ask anything, to the point where he feels safe enough that he actually gives Aizawa the muzzle that was used to punish him for those things he was just afraid of doing.
