What do dogs think about Crufts? Do cats like cuddles, and who makes the better burglar alarm? Take a ringside seat as the two most popular pets go head to head in a battle that’s raged for centuries.
Nick Park’s Creature Comforts took the classic documentary style and applied it to the lives of wild animals and pets, matching a cast of clay characters with human voices to charming effect. Originating from Nick’s 1989 Academy Award®-winning short film, Creature Comforts was unique for using unscripted vox-pop interviews with the British public in a stop motion series that has become an Aardman classic.
The success of the short film led to two TV series, which broadcast on ITV, and an iconic series of commercials for the Electricity Board’s ‘Heat Electric’ campaign. Creature Comforts also went across the pond to the USA where the unique format was used once again to tell real-life stories from people in America. The claymation characters portray very human traits and contemplate absurdities of the universe such as, ""Do bald eagles ever feel self-conscious?"" and ""What makes pigs feel sexy?""

Cats aren't assholes. Humans would rather blame an innocent animal than take responsibility for being an asshole themselves. It's pathetic & petty. My cat has NEVER been malicious towards me & the rare occasion she does get mad, it's because of something I've done. Cats are just as affectionate as dogs. All you have to do is treat them well & give them their space.
A person has to earn a cat's respect. I like that.
I have two cats, both of whom are incredibly vocal, playful, loving, and observant of everything I do. My oldest girl (currently 4+ years old) found me as a stray and trusted me instantly, so we've been together ever since. My younger boy (just over 3 years old now) was about three months old when a former neighbor had kittens they were trying to rehome before moving away, and I introduced him to my first kitty because -- out of the four kittens there were, one came to trust me first -- and he quickly became my snuggle bug. He gets hangry and still acts like a toddler sometimes, but if I give him some attention, he's right as rain a moment later. I wouldn't trade this pair for the world.
Cat's are not as affectionate as dogs at all
Never trust someone who doesn't like cats, says that cats don't greet you or aren't friendly.
You have to EARN a cat's friendship.... That's why that saying applies. I always measure people on how my cat treats them, she's never been wrong

Wonderful. Favorite bits:
-The scarred odd-eyed K9 German Shepherd twitching with subconscious Vietnam War flashback vibes when he talks about cats lol
-The dog and cat couple were the best, working against each other. The little digs they got in with each other was super in character.
-The dog saying "I'm loyal to the point of disloyalty" felt that 100% as a life experienced adult lol
-the lice on the dog for the commercial lol (@1:11)

Not to sound like a busted record, but people who don't think cat are loving enough as never owned one. I don't mind dogs though.
Priceless, but bear in mind that the dialogue came from actual interviews with human beings. Makes you wonder where we stand on the intelligence scale.

I will forever be a cat person. I mean, don't get me wrong, I like dogs...But I LOVE cats. I've never met a dog as affectionate as the cats I've had. And I don't have to go outside in the freezing cold and snow or the heat to pick up frozen or melted dog shite.
