    damn first time I see someone that knows what they're doing, I work at a custom acrylic fabrication company and I see a lot of videos giving wrong info. good work dude

      actually only the right filament needs to be bought (so you use a batery or something and use it to heat the material, some heat gun could work aswell, however is not recomended as it works better with the same temperature on all the joint or it could get deformed)
      Anything else could be made with wood, or use more primitive sanding tools... also you could give the chamfers a transparent look if you did sanded it roughly with a torch, even one 4 cooking should work)

      All you really need is a scoring tool you can get at Home Depot, the right glue and a torch tool wise. The jig is necessary though.. I make displays at work and it can be done with hand tools, a bit slower but...

      as someone who has lost a digit to a tablesaw, this was hard to watch. I really don't understand someone not using a push stick, especially cutting down this small. eeep!

    Curious about the details of the trim-flush fence for the router. It says details in the description, but not seeing them. Am I missing something obvious?

      Hey! I was using a 3/4" Trim Flush Router bit with a standard barring. Hope that helps! Nothing fancy. Just needs to ride along wall and trim off the panel that has been glued to the bended panel.

      It isn't glued shut. Just placed onto its step-base. Like a friction fit bottom

    I hope you are looking forward to a trip to the ER. The method of cutting with your (R) hand between the material, straight edge and blade is extremely dangerous. You should be using a block of wood to hold work straight without putting yourself in danger. I sincerely hope this tragedy never happens.

      Any carbide tipped blade should work fine. 60 - 80 tooth. Triple chip grind works best.

      I agree. But almost 7 years later I still have 10 fingers. Freedom to create in the manner in which we choose is truly a blessing. I don't remember making a tutorial on using a table saw. :)

      It's a table saw with a carbide tipped saw blade. You can buy them at Home Depot. Not Professional Grade Unobtainium. They're pretty ordinary if you actually go out and look.

      @@tomm1968 Yeah I ended up getting one, it fits nicely in the middle of my tiny NYC studio apartment. However, I use it as sa surface to score the acrylic sheets with a knife and cut it that way. Otherwise it wakes up the baby.
