Yes, I believe the problem lies in the lack of understanding that price is fractal.

also other reasons why i look at H4 FVG > 30min OB
-I usually use FVG > OB
-HTF> LTF ( H4 is higher than m30)
-m30 OB is also in a much higher premium
-it tapped into m30 in 2am NY
-tapped into h4 at 3am NY

Hey mate, not sure how you trade but that 30m orderblock low was actually an Asia session low.
Asia session was an expansion following yesterday bullish orderflow
When this happens, usually London would have at least a retracement or a sweep of liquidity. In this case the "Orderblock" you referred to is a propulson block, which means the block did not sweep liquidity, so it'll be a more aggressive on your end to use it for your entry.

30mOB is also short term swing low. You have intermediate term swing low to the left that already rebalanced 30FVG. That one should hold. Short term lows get swept. Not always but a lot. But I think you did not do much wrong. If you were not sure should have waited for entry confirmation. Since you had 5m break of structure with displacement you thought that was it. But if not sure wait for retracement into that FVG and another displacement above the candle that rebalanced FVG. Then trade that new OB. Wait for price to tap into it. But don't stress your self much about it. Small mistake.
