I’d don’t understand why people get so pissy over mankads. The non-striker is clearly trying to take an advantage, the bowler has the right to make sure they don’t. As far as I can see the whole warning thing is bullishit. Imagine if you had to warn players you were thinking about stumping them? It’s just stupid. Want to leave the crease early? Run the risk of getting out. It’s not that difficult to understand.
It’s one of those spirit of the game things, even though its perfectly legal, you’re bound to rile up some snobs by doing it. I don’t mind the warning though, sometimes it happens without the batter noticing, and if you end up taking the wicket from mankad, then you best believe their bowlers will look for the opportunity too. The last thing the game needs is bowlers trying to mankad every other ball, the game does not need to be slower than it already is.
Cricket is an odd sport where a rule can be black and white yet some how be debated. Like when bairstow was run out because he just wondered up the wicket after each ball.
It’s stupid we’re punishing bowlers for stepping over the line by 1 millimeter, but we let batsmen cheat when they get run out at the bowlers end. -The Commentator
At least half of these warnings were from bowlers entering their delivery stride then balking while the batsmen were still in their crease. That’s not how a mankad works
If the batter is repetitively leaving their crease, then that’s cheating. There shouldn’t be anything against mankad, it’s the system against cheating.
Spirit of the game this and unfair that. I say that if you want to mankad someone, you *give them a warning* the first time. If they continue taking off early, you now have every right to knock the bails off.

People who were watching that game last night and saw overton mankad him.
Here
Then Allen smashed him into the stands for it lol 😂
was he out or not? if not, why?
@meks039 he wasn’t called out for whatever reason they just gave him a warning
@@Cheddr_ttv the whole warning thing is stupid imo. If youre out of your crease, youre out of your crease. Just watch the bowler
Overton's mankad was not intended to get him run out, it was a warning to the batter ti stay in the crease.
Again another banger vid

You don’t actually have to warn the batsman, as you say, it’s only in the spirit of the game
The bowlers don't get a warning for over stepping so neither should the batsman
Morris' Mankad wasn't bad, more of just turning a mistake into a funny moment.
I don't see anything wrong with the mankad. Its in the rules that you can get a batsman out that way so whats the problem?
Outside of Zampa these arent even Mankad attempts, they're warnings...
Let’s go I’ve watched all of your vids
Isn’t this rule why we have umpires? Shouldn’t it be up to them to enforce that rule? Not the player?
Mankads I don’t understand why if it such a big deal when it happens it is part of the game
I was at that renegades v stars game and that reaallyyy pissed me off
Stay in your crease and a mankad won’t be an issue
I didn’t mind the zamps mankad, but the fact that he left for copping heat for it… 🟢🟢🟢🟢🟢🟢
Dan Christian is all class.
Zampa poked the bear Roger’s took 5 wickets that game
Yeah
Why are most of these including the scorches lol
Real
Cos Scorchers are the new Jeffery Epstein.
quick
Hello again remember I’m always there
Same
Great to see you. Hope you and the family are pounding awesomeness. 😀
Straight up a sign that the bowler disrespects the batsmen and the spirit of cricket :/
Mankads is a dogs act
What are you okay with? 2, 3, 4, feet?
@@kane4013 I'm not okay with measuring anything in feet in the 21st century. Use centimetres or metres. It is not the 1800s.
