The head is designed to funnel in smaller prey, has a large flat cross section that would be way easier to bit into then Bloop's head, and the skull protrudes much farther out both to the side and in front of the teeth getting in the way of a successful bite. As a Whale Bloop would not carelessly attack with a wide open mouth giving what small opportunity this video showed for the El Gran Maja to latch on. Bloop would slam, batter, and crush El Gran Maja as it drove it to the surface landing massive body blows. Bloop also had previously landed a fatal bite to El Grand Maja side (way before Bloop needed to surface) that would of not only crushed bones and organs, but would of left a large hole. Toothed whales have powerful jaws and sharp teeth, the person who made this ignored a lot stuff in favor of El Gran Maja. Whales are vastly more intelligent then eels and even growing to gigantic size I don't see this changing. The one advantage El Grand Maja has was not even used until after it had been bitten in the side. If it did actually constrict its prey the single best move would of been to latch onto Bloop just behind the head and proceed to constrict the over sized whale. Cool vid but maybe more knowledge of anatomy, hunting strategies, and natural weaponry to make this more believable.
