Ive had two Emma mattresses, and both have got stuck and not gone back to their original shape. I don’t mind sinking in to the mattress, but my body groove has become permanent. The first one collapsed on one side due to me sitting on it a lot.

I've yet to find a review of the mattress after a person using it for two/three years...That is surely the proper test...from reading some previous reviews of other foam mattresses people say they all sag in the middle (especially the large double mattress).

too, yet emma mattress said that the transaction has failed and declared

Thanks for the review! I currently have a Leesa but need a new mattress as we’re getting a bigger bed frame. We like the Leesa a lot - it’s comfortable, feels reasonably plush, has low motion transfer, and isn’t too hot. But it’s not on sale in the UK any more 😔 What would you recommend as an alternative? I sleep on my side and my stomach - just about the worst combination! My partner is mostly a side sleeper. Emma sounds like a good option, though perhaps springier than Leesa, with worse motion transfer? But the zoned support definitely appeals. Any suggestions gratefully received! Thanks

I uderstand to measure the sinking in horizontal line up to see if it is good for a couple. And why not vertical too so we can get a look how different body sizes may sink into the mattress?

I like a foam bed, but this one seems to have very little edge support, not enough for me as a side sleeper.

there is something i don't get, do you know how the origial Tempurpedic have a test when you drop a ball and is doesn't "jump" (which supposly means how good the foam is), but this one seems to be like an spring!. I had one who felt like a "spring" and it felt like a lot of pressure on my elbows, knees and shoulders

Hello! I am looking for the personal recommendation that you mentioned in the video. I am a 20 year old female college student 5'2" in height and 116 pounds. I am looking for a mattress to really last me about 2-3 years and I mainly sleep by myself but my boyfriend stays with me on the weekends. I am torn between this mattress and the cocoon chill by sealy and would like some help deciding! I do prefer to have a bouncier bed and I sleep on both my side and back equally

  • @M896

I'm 100kg and it makes my lower back ache now. It started off fine so I think the mattress sags over time and just under a year later, alas outside of the trial period, I'm looking to replace it.
I think longevity will be a problem for these mattresses especially if you're heavy.
Buy cheap buy twice as they say.

Hi there, I've just order the Emma.. it hasn't arrived yet but I'm surprised to hear you say it doesn't have that 'plush sinking in feeling'... could you recommend a mattress that does? I've tried a few mattress over the years including the Tempur Cloud (too soft no support) Sealy Posturepedic (ok but uncomfortable top layer) and a Caspar which is going back... We really are at our wits end!

@@sleepopolisuk9624 I found it too hard, they offered to give us a free comfort layer which we took but it still wasn't enough to change the dense feeling at the core so I sent it back. I can't fault their customer service though, very prompt and professional throughout.

    • @Spazza42
      @Spazza42 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Missmimiology It’s because they can’t reuse the mattress if it’s sent back though. They’ll offer you whatever they can to make it more suitable in order to keep the purchase, which for the buyer isn’t a bad thing

    Hi,
I need help finding the right mattress.
My partner moves around a lot and I’m very sensitive to that. We both like a mattress around a 6.5-7.5 firmness feel. Both quite heavy sleepers (90kg - 118kg). I like one that I sink into a little bit but my partner likes one he is on top of!! He is back and front sleeper and I am a combination sleeper. From the UK too so there are not as many options!
Tried the leesa, too much sink for my patner, currently on the Otty hybrid, it has too much bounce for me but my partner loves it!

I think long term you would like to have a foam mattress that sinks too much. It would mean that over time it would become sunken and uneven with constant use and preassure in the same places.
