@@mossman4665I’m 27 and most of us thinks Madden sucks now lol. Not because it actually sucks but because it should be worlds ahead of where it is when you consider the fact that Franchise mode was more immersive in 2006 and they’re bringing back old features like mini games from Madden 04 and calling it a new feature 20 years later.

I have to disagree with the practice reps. Especially if your in a 32 man cfm as I am. Your players will be tired in full pads practice. I only suggest doing full pads during preseason and doing half pads then splits during reg season.
I definitely learned something. I didn't realize how important restarting/getting gold was for making a younger player a 99 versus lower 90s. I mean I originally started out doing just that, but my buddy said he just skips that, and it was becoming time consuming to me, so I figured simulating the mini games would still get me there. Game changer I play with Washington I took forbs out the starting rotation added 2 mentors for him for that boots put him at the start with fuller go into training and select backups but in formations I sub them for forbes and Martin
❤ love the time you took. I definitely knew most of it except the weekly strategy because I leave that on auto for my franchise. What I’ve been trying to figure out is how to set goals for individual players. They are inside players individual chart where you can see his stats. It always says no goals.
Yea I had to learn that lesson the hard way. Got to the bowl. My LB CB1 & SS got hurt & couldn’t return… I play the slow game I always go half pads & split all my reps except for the main guys I’m trying to build, or when it’s a short week then all starters sit
I’m making a video on this. But short answer, its random. Sometimes spamming them too hard seems to not work either. In my history winning player of the week and achieving a stat line that would complete a dev game like 150+ yards and 3 td’s will trigger it. I have this theory that unrealistic stat lines don’t trigger dev games like 500+ yards and 7 td’s
Is there a certain amount of times u can do drills in a season and have a normal go to a star or a star guy go to superstar? If so , how many times u have to get gold?
At what overall do you stop training your players in weekly strategies? It was suggested to me that once I have a player hit 80 overall then I should stop and move on to the next guy that I want to train. Is this recommended?
Depends on the player honestly like my league i been in we on our 2nd season & i got jj McCarthy at 76 & he’s a 80 now but imma keep him in weekly strategy cuz he’s my main player that i need to upgrade heavy but i got Javon Bullard & he a 79 now so once he hits 80 im taking him off
Manual always. You def want to be able to control all that. Make sure you check every week tho because if it’s on manual and you never adjust the reps you might end up destroying a players fatigue bar lol.
Unless it's changed from M23, size doesn't matter at all in this game, except for height giving more of a catch radius. I forget who did it, but there was extensive testing done to determine if size affects anything, and the conclusion was no. Not in the slightest. You could have a 6 foot 200 pound DT and the game wouldn't play differently as long as he had the correct ability stats.
If I got a rookie free safety with star dev does my mentor need to be a free safety ? Or will a strong safety still give the extra boost to the rookie in training ?
Great question. I try to find mentors for every position but sometimes you have 2 good SS and 1 good FS and maybe the mentor is on a decline and is taking up a roster spot
For the practice when it says Starters vs Backups... is that based off Overall or actual Depth chart that you set? Example: If Jalen Ramsey is my highest rated CB but I have him 3rd on my depth chart, is he a starter or bench?
HELP.... I am in a 5 person user CFM and we are finishing the first year. I have Justin Fields who is 24 yrs old currently but only at a 78 overall (I tried but we play on All Madden). I have a top 10 pick and am thinking of moving on from him. However I can not replace his speed. WWYD?
You have to dev him by 25, if not then move him if you can get a big haul. That speed is tough to replace, it comes down to your ability to be a top passer and dev him. After 25 it becomes too tough.
yo this is exactly what i was just talking about with someone. great tips. can i join one of your leagues. i’m trying to get into a league that play franchise?
@@Bareus34 The statistics doesn't drive develop nowhere near as much like in older Maddens(02,03,04,05,06) Besides there have been more than a few players who have had star dev or better and end up being busts and their dev traits decreased in the next Madden(Chase Young). Respectfully I disagree on the advice specific to always taking attribute points. Particularly with a young QB. If your building a freak QB or just a young guy with upside you want the exp early because you wanna roll the dice on the upgrade getting you a throw power or a speed increase. Also depending on the scenario some of these boosts are only temporary. If I’m looking long term I’d rather have a exp boost to my entire team vs a 2 week passing boost to my QB Especially true if you cheese the upgrades by hard resetting before it auto saves
@@dawidtibursky5530 you do the upgrade. See if you like the stat boosts. If you don’t you force quit the game on the ps menu. The game doesn’t auto save until you go back to the main franchise menu. You can actually do upgrades in the upgrade section for multiple players so you don’t have to reset as often. It still doesn’t save until you return to the main menu. Useful for speed boosts and throw power boosts You can also change positions. Once I fully upgraded Richardson as a QB I change him to Rb after 3-4 upgrades. And do the elusive back upgrade. Got a few more speed upgrades. Plus juke etc. Just keep in mind that you may need to edit the player to a normal Dev and then re apply the X factor because for some reason in the adjust lineup tap it removes a 3rd X factor when you change the position.

If it´s a speed, agility, acceleration or strength upgrade, take it as those ratings are the one that have the least increase upgrading
