Loved this hot trek through the swap with you guys and love even more how in tune and appreciative of Sandee's culture Jerid is. Tomato season is over, at least for starting new ones in natural lighting. Tomatoes are the easiest thing to grow. When it starts growing and you see the first flowers, trim off the bottom suckers to let it provide more energy to the fruit. Repot when tomato becomes taller than the pot. When it’s large enough, put one of those tomato / plant support cages and let it hang inside those while it flourishes for you.
Jumping on here to say you need at least a 5 gallon pot and water it daily (preferably early morning or late afternoon) if it’s outside as potted plants dry out quickly

The first plant was a corn plant. The snake plant will bloom. I had an east facing porch in Lilburn, and it thrived by the doorway in the warmer months. The blossoms are very fragrant for both plants.
Sandee and Jerid, your vlogs always brighten my day! 🫶🏽 And pro tips for staying cool: 1) get a cooling towel, soak it in water, and wrap it around your neck (we got ours on Amazon) and 2) use an umbrella for shade (we use the same ones we use for rain) but it makes a huge difference for keeping you cool as well. Both of these were game changers when we visited Disney World with my family last week. 🥰

When I was little I worked with my mom at the swamp meet for years , it’s so hot and is so much work for unloading and reloading and my mom would spend hours making clothes and hats for cheap. So I definitely feel those prices are great for all the labor they have to do.
I work for Crocs, and Jibbitz are $5 each unless they are metal, fluffy, or light up, which are $7. Try putting rubbing alcohol on a Q-tip and rub it around the hole you are putting the Jibbit in. It should shrink a little around the charm and keep you from losing them so easily. Love the videos ❤️

And it makes everything super smooth and also opens up to stand as a mini tripod. Would be good for Disney trips. You can use it as a selfie stick or prop it up on a trashcan or table with the tripod. I have one and it’s pretty nice.
