Super valid point on the combos being all in one set. Like as much as Nadu is as a mistake, fair enough on forgetting it’s interaction with zero cost equipment, but some of these are clearly designed combos, which inches us closer to Yu-gi-oh.
Woah woah woah, yes we have designed combos. But, those combos often form sub combos within larger combos that konami had in no way planned, so clever deckbuilding can result in a monstrosity that will inevitably be netdecked and then omnipresent. But nontheless, there is a certain horrific majesty to seeing a 60 card (yugioh's max deck size, and remember no lands so it would be equivalent to a 90 card mtg deck) list that combines 5 archetypes and goes through 11/15 extra deck cards.
I'd leave eldrazi alone in modern for now. They could be a problem after energy gets hit, but I am in favor of waiting until it's a problem and not banning in expectation of it being a problem.
It is a little Yu-Gi-Oh in all honesty, like an archetype gets released together in one set and it’s just a matter of picking the 4-6 best support pieces to make it work.
Y’all really think Wizards is gonna ban The One Ring before reprinting it and stuffing it in a product next year??😂😂 DREAM ON!!!🎶 Guide of Souls or Raptor are more likely bans out of the energy package.
You Said multiple Times fleshraker would make damage If a colourless creature leaves. Thats not correct he makes the damage If a creature enters not leaves.
@@simonsanchez9505 No one at any level of play is complaining about Kozilek's Command or the 3 mana Eldrazi. The complaint is the extremely free fast mana that's associated with these cards
The problem is asking for bans instead of playing Magic. Where is that Mill Guy that you used to be? Where is the Mill content? Broodscale deck is not a problem, is a funny deck, cheap and interactive. Takes a lot of inteligent lines to play against the Big beasts of the format (aka Energy). Maybe we need more common and uncommon card decks and less mithic-rare decks.
I remember when MH3 set was being revealed and most people was unsure or very pessimistic about the power level for the set, because the free spells weren't so broken. That was less powerfull than MH2 and so on...
If possible, I'd like to see them combat this by unbanning certain cards. Eventually there will always be a "best deck" the question is, are there viable ways to combat it? I think in Pauper at least, unbanning Daze would slow the format down.
I'd like to see Unbans some unbans to attempt to fight the metagame. I would also like to see The One Ring restricted to 1: The argument that Modern's identity isn't X is bogus. The identity of Modern for years was Looting, Mox Opal, SSg, and Ancient Stirrings so "identity" or "spirit" means nothing. Restricting TOR solves the play pattern issue without killing the cards value. At the end of the day if WotC wants their flagship card to exist then it will BUT I think they will bite the bullet and TOR will be banned in all formats. That will be the only change. You have to accept that MH3 is a part of the game now. They aren't banning 5-10 cards from it
I don’t think ether are necessarily broken but I do agree there good but using legacy as the bench mark I don’t think is necessarily a good thing considering all of the broken cards❤
I would love to see the whole boros mardu energy decklist banned including the bowmasters, and the frog. Realistically we will get a statement that they are monitoring the situation and love to see new decks popping up.
Eldrazi is not that bad. I play UB Affinity and never really seen an issue against it.... except when they get a ring out and ramp into everything. Like any other deck running the ring. Ban that and see how the format changes
@ Uro is banned. Phlage is what professional players say is better than Uro was in modern. And Phlage is what I think intentionallly designed to work with arena of glory, but that play pattern is so bad because you can remove everything else and then you take 12 and they gain 6. It is a broken magic card.

I love how wheneverthe Meta shifts people get salty. Embrace the new, shift the Meta adapt and overcome.
I second your statement. A new deck without heavily relying on The One Ring should be celebrated.

Unban Grief and the Broodscale deck would disappear, if we're afraid of the deck.

My predictions for b&r:
Standard: Ban Leyline of Reconance.
Modern: Ban The one ring and Phlage.
Legacy: Ban Phsychic Frog and Kozilek’s Command.
unfortunately no one plays leyline of resonance anymore.
phlage did nothing wrong. i bet if a card is being removed from the energy deck it will be the amped raptor
