    I was very much a beginner hobbyist at the time (please take that into consideration when assessing my idiocy lol)
    Apologies for not showing the landing

    Some slope soaring with my new glider from Horizonhobby. It's a great plane overall and makes a great remote control slope soarer.

    Hi Great channel and great video!
    I am buying mine tomorrow from the shop down the street
    You know now, NO Y CABLES!
    Use 2 channels for the Ail, R&L, then you mix flaperons to lift up a bit and that willl slow down that plane, it does not want to land, it just wants to keep going!
    It is a great slope plane but when you need to land some places with limited space then you will want them.

    @dirtroadie4642 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    You actually don’t need the y connector. Just plug each servo Into their own channel, then setup for dual aileron. That gives you the ability to do flaperons, and spoilerons

    Fantastic ! great to see someone flying it as a glider rather than at mega speed all the time. Partly cos I'm a little scared for when it arrives. Will be boating around for a few flights :)

    Ailerons on separate channels will give way more performance. You can mix in snap flaps for nicer turns and inverted flight. If you want to fly in strong wind you will find flaps/flaperons a huge help when trying to land. Looks like a nice plane.

      Exactly ! And in his video he says plugging in each aileron to its own channel “just doesn’t make any sense” lol. No wonder the guy only has 177 subscribers, he doesn’t know much about the ins and outs of Rc aircraft .

    Thanks for posting the video. Just got my Conscendo Advanced. I thought that they wouldn't slope very well because they don't seem to have much rudder authority but you seem to slope really well with it. By the way: Since you AREN'T using a receiver with SAFE on it, you can actually plug the ailerons into separate channels and the set up flaperons / spoilerons.

    I kind of want a plane that's less aerobatic, but more stable as a glider, if you know what I mean. In a way, this plane is a bit too pricey, especially for a beginner who just wants to cruise and soar above the people at the park. I did have the Skysurfur from banana hobby, so that was fun til it lasted. Now I'm looking at possibly a basic one, one that can still handle strong wind, and won't easily tilt or steer off when the wind is blowing from another direction, if you know what I mean, and great for perfect touch landings. :)

    If you plug them into different canels you can have flapperons

    if you have a spare channel, put the aileron servo's to a seperate channels you will have more control setup and adjustments don't use a y lead, to me that's just short cutting the setup process and that takes away some of the fun.

    What size battery do you use ? Thinking my 2200's might be too heavy. And wind speed ? 8knots-ish ?

    • @eastbayrider9511
      @eastbayrider9511  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I use a 1300, I don't think you need the 2200 unless you want more weight for wind penetration.

    I researched researched researched this platform before spending the almost $200, I bought the Conscendo evolution and now that I own it I am kicking myself in the ass, the tail wag in this thing is HORRID and annoying AF ! I don’t know what the deal is with this heap-O-shit but if you want a solid plane that tracks true and flies solid then avoid this plane and quit listening to this hyped up talk. I am extremely disappointed.

    • @endliberalism4305
      @endliberalism4305 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Jean-Marie Jacobs you’re right, after flying the last couple months I get it, it’s a FOAM aircraft and nothing is going to track like a CF platform. I guess I’m expecting perfection and that just isn’t going to happen for $160 😊… thank you for your post
