In the heart of Shakarparian, Islamabad, stands Masjid A.Q. Khan, a testament to resilience and unwavering faith. Despite its 70-year-old structure nearing collapse, the devout Muslims continue to gather within its walls, undeterred by the looming threat.
Dr. Abubakar Shireen Ghazi, a dedicated PHD doctor has served as the imam of Masjid A.Q. Khan for nearly two decades. With a fervent commitment to preserving this sacred space, Dr. Abubakar has tirelessly sought donations to rescue the masjid from its inevitable demise.
His efforts have taken him to various government offices and the doors of countless individuals, yet the support received has been minimal at best. Nevertheless, Dr. Abubakar remains resolute, firmly believing that his life's purpose is intricately tied to the preservation of Masjid A.Q. Khan.
