@@De3thSt3r It's part of a kinda big storyline nonetheless. I enjoyed it, even though it was hard af fighting thr frostclaw and the fireclaw. This game is one of my all time favourites, and I can not wait untill Forbidden West.

I finished the game in 25 hours (over the course of 1 week)
I did 100 hours. Was not expecting that.
When i initially started playing the game I didn't expect much. Quickly realised how deep it is, to the point where even my mother enjoyed watching me play solely because of the story element. It is a masterpiece, and its sad that its exclusive to the PS4.

yea but they don't affect the main storyline because their part is basically DLC, it's a nice side story though
Also there was some sort of cannibal tribe.
There's some outside the borders too, the banuk don't do much til the DLC though, they're just kinda there.
Spoilers - This is missing a lot. About tribe finding her infront of valut like doors which they were worshiping. And that this was AI last resort to make Soback clone so she can one day override settings since its bio/dna authorisation, but doors get jammed and AI is doomed to never meet her. That creators of AI were afraid that their experiment of recreating earth will end up bad. So they created Hades program ,as fail-switch to wipe everything and start again. That last survivvors/programees of AI were murdered, because one of them thought "this will never stop, ppl will try to destroy themself again!" so he ban any next human generations of access to humanity database/knowledge. Ending up with ppl living prehistoric like times next to contrast of mysterious modern machines.
Main story was so deep, its sad that datadisk was so cheap in that.
And I am imaging Faro being alive.
Maybe transforms himself into an AI and acting like AM from I Have No Mouth And I Must Scream.

I just realized Elizabeth Sobeck and Elizabeth Kolbert are really similar names. Sobeck is the character that created GAIA as the solution to extinction in the game. Kolbert is a real journalist/environmentalist who wrote the 6th extinction book which is about the possible human caused extinction. So cool.
Didnt do the plot justice, great game!.... but it serves its purpose of a 3 minute overview

And with a matching 99.74% DNA, Aloy Is Elisabet Sobeck who is her own mother AKA All-Mother.
Honestly, Horizon Zero Dawn has one of the best story out there among the best RPGs.

This was so bad .. Hades isint a rouge AI , it's just doing its job but it was eroniously activated . Elizabeth didn't quit because of the war machines that replicated , but was Mad about Ted going behind her back and talking to the military about using HER work for military use .

This game is awesome but I think there's some room for improvement in the future sequels. They should improve the hand to hand combat because the cqc in the first game was nonexistent. It was literally just spamming the spear attack. Also I think they should add a stamina bar to make it more realistic, there's no way a human being could roll like Alloy does and not get tired. And they should also let us ride thunderjaws when we override them because that would be EPIC.

Gaia self destructed upon producing Aloy, not before that. The whole "machines gone bad" happened as Aloy was growing up. Overall this 3min overview leaves out a lot of plot points and causes more questions than it answers...

you forgot the banuk tribe.. also i don't think aloy was a clone. in a sense she is but she was born from a womb even though its an AI's womb it's still a womb and she was a baby not immediately on her 30s.. so you can say that she is Elizabeth reborn in the future.

+Hakan Baratheon she is not exactly 100% Elizabeth. sylence even said that she has two mothers but nowhere in the game that was stated that she's a clone. i get what you mean by her being a clone i even said that in a sense she is a clone.. but i really think it's Elizabeth being reborn OR Aloy is her own person and can be identified as daughter of Elizabeth only aloy was born centuries after her death and on a machine's womb.

HZD on the PC could well be the best game I've ever played. Hopefully the Forbidden West port to PC maintains the same standard of excellence. HZD got more things right simultaneously than any game I've ever played. Kudos to the dev and port team. Forbidden West is a game I'll probably be willing to pay full-price for when it's released for PC. I never, EVER do that!

Just saw two mistakes but it's a fine summary. First one is that there are more tribes (a few known and others unknown). Second mistake is saying that two different tribes have a civil war. How is it a civil war when they are different tribes? 😅

When Aloy falls into the ruins as a kid, and the recordings start talking about our Earth, I got a sick feeling in my stomach. The more the story went on the more sick I felt, because if we as humanity go unchecked in our creations we could really wipe ourselves out.
