Just saved me tons! I used fix a flat in one tire- from then on, TPMS on permanently. Dealer wanted me to replace the sensor for $150 plus labor plus 479 point inspection and safety check. Nah. I did what you said, now I have no worries, and no TPMS light- and even better- I just use a tire gauge to check my tires…thanks so much!
When you showed the tapes area, behind the cluster film,I was thinking you had covered the adjacent area slightly and when the low tire pressure light came on,it gave me a little chuckle to see the slight cutoff. Thanks for the video and for making it look so easy:)
Finally, a partial guide to removing the gauge cluster in these GE Fit's. I've needed to remove mine so I can thoroughly polish the plastic rather than doing it with the cluster installed, which was a disaster. Thanks for sharing!
The previous owner just threw some tape over the cluster. Now, thanks to your vid, I did it the best way possible. I got the tape cut perfectly with an exacto knife too. I change tires for the winter and now no more dealership coding! Love it!
They’re soldered on leds so not easily. You’d have to desolder them from the pcb and place and solder new ones. They’re surface mount too, making things even harder.
@@skylinrcr01 you meant we cant replace each led with the snap on Led like for AC and knob light? I was thinking about replacing some bulb as it is kinda dim now
Hi is there any way to disassemble the cluster panel to replace bulbs inside? D indicators high light not working only the dim light., would you think its easy to replace the LEDs inside?
I’d imagine you’re better off replacing the cluster unless you know how to solder surface mount leds. Not worth the risk unless you’re good with surface mount soldering.
the TPMS line on the Honda fits about the stupidest thing ever. I have that same car and it's like dumb it doesn't tell you anything other than oh well the tires is low

Yeah I can see it when I turn the car on. One of these days I’ll fix it lol.

bought another Fit, same problem so had to come back. Amazing video again
Nice video- I appreciate it! I just got done deleting my TPMS light and another "eye sore" while I was in there.
This was such a huge help! I just got mine done thanks to this video
Thanks for your video, it was useful!
glad you showed this
is possible to change the bulbs and put ones with different color?

No option to remove the bulb like older cars but looks easy enough, thanks for the quick vid
Nah they’re all leds in there.

@@HuyTran-zy9sv They are surface mount LEDs from what I can remember. I sold my fit a few months ago, or I'd double check.
This help me a lot. Thank you 🙏

Super helpful, thank you!
Just take the sensors from the stock wheel and put them in the custom tires. Your way worked too
Why didn't the mechanic just put in the old tpms sensors on the new wheel again?
It’s me, I’m the mechanic. Because I ordered the new wheels with tires pre installed.
Hi, I need to install speedometer conversion, 2011 honda jazz, anyone has the wiring diagram please.
oh it's probably a bad. TPMS sensor. lol
Swapped the wheels out without the sensors, the old ones worked fine, just didn't like the light :)

@@MyIronman8 , LOL! It's not specific in which tire is low on air, LOL!
