I can see the desire for a more clear “I’m ready to confess” on Yang’s part but I feel like the whole scene is that she wasn’t ready. Not for lack of feelings but for lack of thinking her feelings mattered in a sense? Yang has always shown love through actions and she is not super vulnerable so the idea of Talking about her love for Blake and being confident about them is what brought them to their own crossroad. We see that Blake is ready and eager and encourages Yang the entire time because she has full trust in her. And it’s not that Yang doesn’t trust Blake but she still afraid regardless. This is the first person she’s loved romantically or at least in such a big way and she Does Not Know if things will be fine. And it feels so grounded despite the magical realism because she knows she cares about Blake and is Pretty Sure Blake cares about her too. But she even says “I think I love you” when Blake tells her to say it First. She’s uncertain and afraid of the free fall but Blake being the one to encourage her to say it makes her the more confident one in the moment which I think is the opposite of a hypocritical Weiss and Yang talk. Because I don’t think Yang would have mentioned it at all if not for this storm. Blake wanted to say it but was waiting for Yang. Yang was waiting on Herself to gain the courage. Blake being the one to give her that courage I think fits their relationship and highlights Yang’s vulnerability better than a set up scene. Even if she would tell Weiss she’s just waiting for the right time but is lying I think her “this can’t be what this is about” shows that she didn’t plan on a big love confession due to her fears. But Blake gives her the room to say it and then immediately follows up with her own assurance which is why the scene is so meaningful. They didn’t say it for anyone but themselves and Yang, who acts bravely when she’s afraid, got to be vulnerable and not punished for it. Blake took the lead but wasn’t mean about it. It was all very soft and showed such a rarely seen side of Yang I really appreciate
3:16:11 What if, during a previous ponderstorm, Alyx was shown the specific moment that Jaune kills Penny. Without any of the context, Alyx assumes that they've been traveling with a child murderer. Would anyone really trust a child murderer?
I feel like the whole summer thing is because as stated in the hallucination fog she saw huntress’s as unstoppable hero’s and she had summer above all else, she was her idol, but now with the knowledge off the gimmified people and her own failings she’s having doubts and that image of summer, most likely when she was young, around their age, and becoming a huntress, is weighing on her. Also the I feel like the shocked faces of blake and Yang is because they’re shocked that once they confessed they were right there in front of each other, very poetic, that all it took was those three words to bring them together
I donkt know if anybody here watched Once Upon a Time but Jaune's attitude this episode is very similar to Jefferson's (Mad Hatter) attitude towards Wonderland.
Something people tend to forget about tiren...is that's his semblance is temporarily destroying peoples aura from places he hits them...implying he can see aura so he can easily remember where to hit (and to people who will say...he will just memorize it...Renner tire fights like an unpredictble lunatic its why he's so dangerous ...so I think he's too busy doing back flips to rember stuff like that)
What I believed is Alyx eventually grew to regret what she did, and wrote Jaune to have drunk poison in her place, and left out her brother because she didn't want to admit what she did to him.
I actually think that Alyx never went back and the brother did. She made the sacrifice to allow him to back and got herself "ascended". The brother then wrote the story about Alyx in order to remember her and left himself out. Unfortunately I would also wager that Alyx is likely the Jabberwalker due to not ascending properly given that she is not from Ever After.
@@EvanHambrook-yi6zs unfortunately there are zero signs or reasons for Lewis to have been the one to go back and Alyx to have sacrificed herself. Altx was the one who poisoned Jaune and told him nothings stopping her from getting home. Alexis the one who pissed off the members of the Ever After. The Jabberwocker has a guy's voice and not a girls voice. Lewis writing himself out makes absolutely no sense, while someone as selfish as Alyx doing so fits her character perfectly. The only way I'll believe that Alyx was the one who stayed behind is if Alyx tried to sacrifice Lewis but that he moved out of the way and she became the sacrifice instead, and that Lewis was completely clueless about what she tried to do and thought she sacrificed herself for him.
I think the reason Jaune has been so angry and frustrated is because he has like 20 years on them at this point and RWBY are just like oh these darn kids.
definitely agree with the whole telepathy part i definitely thought it was just like yang thinking something and we cut to blake and her thought process completed it.
It's impossible for Jaune to go back a second time. When time rewound all the clock fruits also went back in time and weren't ripe until the time Jaune first arrived. Jaune was nervous about whether team RWBY were real or not, when they confirm they are he's completely relieved. Jaune blamed himself for what happened with Alyx and Lewis.
@@calxiyn the other problems with him having gone back multiple times already is that one he wasn't sure RWBY was real or not, something he'd be sure of if this really wasn't his first time, and two he should know what actually happened to Lewis at the tree as there would have been at least one time he pretended to drink the poison and then secretly follow them to find out what actually happened at the tree, but he doesn't know. So there is no way he went back and plucked another fruit to turn back time. Finally unless Jaune stopped aging completely there is no way he turned time back multiple times.
Alyx staying behind also doesn't make any sense as she outright told Jaune that nothing would stop her from getting home. She also became paranoid of her brother as well as Jaune.
Honestly I think Hunter's notion that Jaune would end up in Alyx's time if he left with her IS the simpler explanation. It seems like a leap in logic to assume that time works differently in each place. Not like, a big leap, it's still a workable theory I just think it's not simpler than Hunter's idea. Love you both!

Hey Cal I think jaune didn't touch the stopwatch after not liking being able to stop it from reversing and decided to wait for team rwby to land after finding ruby's scythe and I think the stopwatch only affects the island and the tree brings you to your own time period no matter if you reverse time on the island! Sorry for my english, even if i understand it, it's still complicated to write. I think Lewis was like following Alyx just before they felt so she is the reason her brother is here with her. And as a little sister who is very protective with my oldest sister because well her health is fragile and all. I think that herb make her realised that he is here because of her and that she can't protect him. Maybe she learned about the Jabberwalker or something. I know that one day i felt like my sis was really in danger and i know that i was litteraly just thinking about protecting her. So maybe when she realised that she was just in survival mode and the fact that she knew that the cat wanted something from them, she was more prone to trust him because they all need each other to get what they wanted. But Jaune was more reluctant to to do what they think they need to survive so she might chose to poisoned him for that. And yeah i totally agree with the theory of Lewis was the one to get out of the ever after, because the name of the original author and well, i'm persuaded that Alyx would do anything to protect him.
I dont really buy that jaune is bad/evil/crazy. From the way jaune described everything he was ok with the cat until the cat offered him ascension. It sounds like none of the kids nor jaune knew about ascension, likely until alex found out during her hooka episode. She probably saw jaune as one of the natives the way he kept trying to keep them to the story he knew. Jaune only found out about ascension when the cat found he lost his purpose and offered him ascension. I dont think jaune ascended, but i think he did find a purpose and will be stuck in ever after when rwby leaves.
Wanna read this Crack theory of mine? What if Ambrosius created the portals above the Ever After? What if Alyx became Summer Rose? I have strong evidence for both these things. Here's my explanation: Jaune used the fruit which allowed him to time travel backwards. He became old enough to essentially be the same age as Summer, Raven, Tai, and Qrow. (Given he has the old people face marks that Kali and Raven have.) This proves that there aren't any wacky rules regarding the order of who fell and that time flows at the same rate in remnant as it does in the Ever After. The order in falling was essentially a red herring. There is strong evidence that the portals that led to Vacuo is high above the Ever After, and that Ambrosius warned them to not fall as he knew that the Ever After was a place that is almost inescapable. But high above the ever after would be the best place to connect every portal without issue to allow safe passage to Vacuo. Now onto Alyx.... Jaune lived the events of Alyx and found out the truth. Alyx betrayed both him and her brother and gave Luis' life to return to Remnant. But as we've seen with the tree, nobody returns as the way they once were. The Red King ascended by power of the tree to become the Red Prince and he was reborn with a different role or purpose. By this ruleset, this would allow Alyx to become someone else. It is commented by Ozpin that she "wasn't the same girl anymore", implying the journey changed her. This would put Summer around the age to be able to have Ruby. Summer must have discovered the truth somehow about where she came from (perhaps by asking Jinn? The lamp had 2 wishes left in the past 100 years right?) SO SUMMER FOUND A WAY TO RETURN TO THE EVER AFTER. AND THERES PROOF IN THE WEAPON THAT HAD HER REFLECTION IN IT. Ruby also saw the reflection of Alyx in the dagger she was drawn to. Alyx was mentioned having a dagger right? Anyways..... there's a few minor kinks that would need to be worked out I think, such as Jaune being as old as he is right now as compared to when he traveled with Alyx, and we need information on his actual journey on how he became the Rusted Knight. The second bit being the purpose of the Blacksmith, and what that means as far as Ruby's encounter with her. If we didn't see what's speculated to be Summer's weapon, I'd have guessed Alyx became Neo. But if the reflection of Alyx and Summer in the Blacksmith's tent works in any way like that trash shoehorn of a plot device known as a ponderstorm, then it's off to the races and by bet is on Summer. Now, for my question: Was it just me or was that some foreshadowing about Jaune possibly giving up his life to send the girls back to Remnant? (And please let me know if my theory is solid. I'm almost sold on it.)
As for Jaune i wonder if he will leave the ever after well if Jnpr is actually Lewis and he can't leave the place either...maybe Jaune will stay to fight the jabawakies with him and the bird and whoever else he teams up with...i always felt like Nora would have been a better leader anyway...guess the cat might run into Neo next and who knows maybe seeing how terrible she is as she might try to kill ruby and he gives her some of his heart like the prince and herb...hopefully Neo don't team up with the prince with her jabawakies and destroy everything while trying to kill team RWBY 😂😂
