Karl becomes more impressive with each episode. Although I cannot claim to agree with giving up the Provence, but this is hindsight talking and knowing that the French will relentlessly move west. One story thread you forget to mention is the German fear of encirclement, but there are still nearly 600 years to mention it.😉 Or that the French aren't any better in that regard **cough** Spain/Germany **cough** .😁
