The character of Zvi-Arye always broke my heart a little. He was so talented, and had so much potential -- he could have had a career as a rabbi, a teacher, a professional singer, or probably a dozen other things, but he seemed so insecure and self-loathing at all times, unable to see that he was adored by his wife and appreciated by everyone else around him.
