- The CEO of Google's parent company Alphabet Inc, Sundar Pinchai, advocates for artificial intelligence (AI) that "serves society", "doesn't have bias", and is "built and tested for safety" during a discussion at the World Economic Forum in Davos.
Global decision-makers are gathering in Davos for their annual meeting, with challenges facing the planet -- from climate change to conflict in the Middle East. Observers fear the annual World Economic Forum will serve only to again expose the differences between East and West, the US and the EU, and business and activists in combating the most burning threats at the start of the third decade of the twenty-first century.

If you look at CPI (inflation data) over the last eight years (2012 - 2020), you can notice inflation on a monthly basis between 0 - 2.9% consistently. Now if you look at the ten year period before, 2002 - 2011, essentially every year has inflation above 3%. I find this eerie in that I think this might involve very intrusive tactics on the part of some entity attempting to create such stability. Whatever tech/tools used since 2012 definitely was not used before. With COVID-19, Trump, and a bunch of other anomalies over the past few years, it makes you think.

@@dreamr4c3r And it would become your independent personal digital assistant (new meaning to PDA). Have you seen the movie "Her" (2013) ?I'm willing to bet that if such a PDA with sufficient awareness become the norm, laws will have to be implemented that can link that PDA to your identity, to protect it legally from malicious intents by anyone human or AI. And ultimately, any chip capable of cognitive AI should have an inhibitor circuit (backup AI without awareness) that blocks morally questionable actions - like the 3 rules for robots from Isaac Asimov. Any protection from an AI with malicious intent should be made in hardware with ultimate control over all other cognitive circuits. Like a human has his moral instinct to give him the awareness of what is good and bad.
