Same like Other decorative ceiling fans that also uses 3 wire for turning on either fan or light (Black : Fan, Blue/Green : Light, White : Neutral). My very first ceiling fan that have 3 wire is same like the fan featured in your video, but sometime people wired the fan and light wires at the same time to make safe
Nice, I think this is my first time ever seeing someone install a ceiling fan with the fan and light on a different switch so that they can be turned on separately. USA style
Well, Alaska ceiling fans in Indonesia already have 3 wires to turning fan and light separately first before MT Edma, but most of them they connect the fan and light wire to make safe. So people never turned on fan and light separately anymore
@@coolpoint4568 True, my Alaska also has the light and fan wire separated. Since mine has the light taken down, it wasn't connected and I just tucked it with duct tape.
The capacitor in the National industrial can be replaced and it needs a speed regulator to be able to run through the speeds, I understand the on/off switch but it’s not really needed
i know right. and i have some other national, old panasonic and kdk ceiling fans too just like this national, and i've replaced the running capacitor on a few of them. to find out the continuation of the national, you may check this video th-cam.com/video/gCXxkSASpBo/w-d-xo.html

hmm, i think most decorative ceiling fans has the same wiring method, since my Hunter also has 3 wires too (+ 1 grounding wire).

so do i! i also prefer this method instead of connecting the fan and light wire together.

@@TheeXtremeFanEnthusiast yes I prefer that too. Much more convenient.

a good sign!
