this is amazing. Every lesson I find online is about vocabulary, and I dont want to learn more words if I dont know how to use them.
i know this is a late reply but its better to learn vocabulary before grammar. because with no grammar you can barely speak arabic, but with no vocabulary you can't speak arabic.

we are learning Arabic solely for the purpose of understanding the Quran better.
So we need only those words which occur in Quran...
I suggest the beginners to learn the Grammar first, and download a Quran App that gives word by word translation, (I have provided the link)..
This is how I began my study.
And after this whenever I memorized a Surah, I would also have each word meaning memorized along with it.
May Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala help us all on our road to knowledge and wisdom.

Well quran.com also has a word by word translation, so i'll use this. but i was really interesed in vocabulary i feel like i can handle it. Seriously, so far Arabic seems like easy as pie.

The Mobile apps makes it simpler..
You just touch a word and the meaning is infront and it also gives you grammatical information like whether it's Ism, Fi'al or Harf.
And then you have the option to search for the same words usage at other places in the Quran to compare it's meaning....
perhaps a similar thing exists in corpus.quran.com/ but i am not interested in that at the moment somehow. Wanna check out?

Birds sound is disturbing.... After few secs I forced myself to check if it was me getting annoyed or I had company ... Can't concentrate!

The way مُ in the begining of 3 root letters shows the hidden meaning of Quality of the three root lettered word within the Doer..
Similarly, مَ often (but not always) when used before three root lettered word, it has the hidden meaning of being the place of action of the three root lettered verb. Like
Sajada = he prostrated
Masjid = place of prostration (mosque)
Kataba = he wrote
Maktab = the place of writing (office)
Nazala = he sent
Manzil = the place to reach (destination)
Jalasa = he sat
Majlis = the place of sitting (gathering)

When Mi مِ is used before three root lettered word, it's hidden meaning is "the source of" or "the tool of"
Fataha = he opened
Miftah = the tool of opening (key)
Sakana = he was relieved
Miskeen = the tool of getting relief (poor and needy)
Qadara = he measured/determined
Miqdaar = the tool of measurement (scale)

If you desire, Download an app called Volume Booster. That will increase the overall volume of the phone.
Just remove the voice of birds from background . When we start study the voice me a lot of distraction.
