One of my favorites from SG. This songs makes me feel like there isn't any anger is this world. Just happiness. 🤘🦊🤘

The girls on the other side of the magic door are all members of the Rakusa Clan of forest girls.
(If you reverse the syllable order, you get Sa-ku-ra).
They exist at the same time as the Sakura Gakuin members, but in another place or dimension. : )
The forest scenes were shot on location.
The video stars the four Sakura Gakuin seniors, Moa Kikuchi, Yui Mizuno, Hana Taguchi and Yunano Notsu.
Moa was the forest girl leader with the flag, which is appropriate since she was the Sakura Gakuin President.
Hana, the girl in the blue dress with the pan and ladle, used it to sound an alarm.
Yui was the one with the film camera.
Yunano (with the bow and arrow) was the girl that convinced Moa to participate in the fun.
This was Moa and Yui's last Nendo (academic year) in Sakura Gakuin.
They graduated in March 2015.
I'm a big fan of Tomoko Kawase, who wrote the Sakura Gakuin songs 'Heart no Hoshi' and 'My Graduation Toss' with her husband Shunsaku Okuda.
They were also the main creative force behind the band 'The Brilliant Green' which is also worth checking out.
Tomoko Kawase also had projects under Tommy february6 (more pop) and Tommyheavenly6 (more rock).

Yui was especially moved that the songwriter captured her feelings of being separated from the other Sakura Gakuin members (and missing their Tokyo Idol Festival appearance) while she was on a world tour with BABYMETAL.
That was when they were touring with Lady Gaga.
There's also a "Dance" version that just shows the choreography with pink and white pompoms without the Rakusa Clan (forest girl), and a short 'making of' behind the scenes video.

One of my favorite Sakura Gakuin songs and music videos. I can't believe I'm saying this but it is what it is! Being a die-hard kitsune has its consequences.😁

Sakura Gakuin has a lot of international fans, more than you might expect from a group like this, thanks to their Babymetal connection. We really appreciate you taking the time to check them out.
In 1:28 this is the motion Moa always does in Road of Resistance, that was released around the same time. I guess they put it as an easter egg. At this point in Sakura Gakuin, BABYMETAL had already become a phenomenon and was doing international concerts. At this point Su had already left, but Yui and Moa were still in their last year in SG and Moa was the class President, that's why she has the main spot in the video.
Hey Joel, just a little help for you here.. Gakuin sound like 'Ga-koo--een'..the 'i' has an 'ee' sound like in 'seen'.

To be honest, I don't like so much only the K-pop-like intro at the beginning, though... I am glad you enjoyed the SG songs.
As I wrote in another place the other day, I bought a lot of SG albums in Tokyo a while ago and I have listened to them a little by little now. almost all the instrumentals, fill in, are surprisingly rock-tone. Except for the sweet girlish vocals, lol.
This song is from the 2014 school year, so it features the most senior students in jr. high school of the year, Moa, Yui, Hana, and Yunano. (In Japanese government offices and schools, a year runs from April to March of the following year. This way of counting the one year, which does not begin in January, is called 'Nendo' (年度). The fiscal year of any private companies is even more various.) So in Japan, the entrance season is in April, so that is the image of spring, cherry blossoms. My favorite part of the MV, is the pretty Hana holding a ladle and a pan at 1:59. And Yui & Moa are so popular that she seem to have been overshadowed by the two, but I pretty like Ynano too. Especially after knowing about the Purchasing Club's music, ha. She is gently coaxing Moa at 3:48. I'd like you to hear 'Peace de Check' by the Purchasing Club, but YT doesn't have any video of hers (it has the 2th gen's one), Daily Motion has the live videos, but...
The name of the song, 'heart no hoshi' means ' the star of the hearts', and the part, 'hoshi' is usually written in kanji, '星', meaning 'star', but here SG has intentionally made it mean 'Earth'. I have heard this is a pun connecting 'heart' and 'Earth', ='hEART Heart', haha. That is the meaning of the footage right before the only part at the beginning of it that I only dislike that I mentioned, and the end one, ha.

Jk Love this song, the girls looks really different but if you managed to recognize them, especially Moa and Yui then you won the challenge, Moa is the Student Council President during this year in 2104.💮❤️

This is a bit of a showcase for the Sakura Gakuin seniors, Yui, Moa, Hana and Yunano. The lyrics reference Alice in Wonderland's rabbit and different people being under the same moon, so there's a reminder of BM's "Akatsuki". Moa is the leader in the alternate forest universe (appropriate as she was class President in the "real universe") who is initially worried about the strange things behind the door, until Yunano reassures her and in the end it's the Moas who open the door. I take this to mean that as a leader you have to be open to new ideas. The message has a bit of ecology and protecting the Earth, but mostly it's about fellowship with everyone on the Earth even if they are different. Moa gets to channel some BM with the flag waving and to wear an awesome cable knit poncho (eat your heart out "Man with No Name"). The laws of physics are different in the forest universe as the lemon battery that Rinon uses to run the projector could never have supplied enough current in our universe. Ah the wonders of SG...
The video production shows how far Amuse/SG came from the simple filming they use when SG was first formed and it's sad to see such joyous videos and know that SG no longer exists...except as a Reddit subgroup, in the graduates' memories, especially Yui I imagine, and in the fans it created.
In our universe, Rinon was the leader of the Science Club sub-unit (Kagaku Kyumei Kikoh Logica?) that year, so I thought that scene was a cute reference.
