While Gentaro and Kintaro were playing loudly, there was a small earthquake tremor.
Momotaro and Gentaro were aware of the earthquake, so they scampered around and ran suddenly.
But after a while, Gentaro and Kintaro were playing in the box again making loud noises.

Father MOMOTARO ♂(2000/7/3)
He is hesitant in new situations and is a loner.
His father died before he was born, and he had never spent time with a silverback.
He had already turned into a silverback by the time he was 10 years old.
He is struggling with unfamiliar child-rearing.
MOMOTARO's father is BIJU.
MOMOTARO's mother is MOMOKO
Mother GENKI ♀ (1986/6/24)
She is 14 years older than Momotaro and has a role to support the whole family mentally.
She has had a tumultuous and eventful life.
She has returned to her birthplace, Kyoto City Zoo.
She had never been blessed with a baby but after meeting Momotaro,
she had two sons.
She is a very maternal female gorilla.
GENKI's father is MAC.
GENKI's mother is HIROMI.
First son GENTARO, male (2011/12/21)
He was separated from his mother Genki soon after he was born.
Genki's milk production was not very good.
He was raised by his keeper for his first10 months.
Because of this, he is very fond of humans.
His face is so expressive, and everyone enjoys watching him.
Second son KINTARO ♂ (2018/12/19)
He is just very strong-willed and independent.
He has big eyes and long eyebrows.
The way he plays a lot with his brother Gentaro makes everyone smile.
We can't wait to see what kind of gorilla he'll become!

Is the other gorilla enclosure they are working on for as you mentioned training only going to be for Gentaro? Or will it also be for his younger brother also once he us older.
In other words are they doing thus renovation to separate Gentaro from his father before there is a major battle.

The ground was built for Gentaro and Kintaro. As we notice, Gentaro is becoming a matured gorilla and at the same time it is necessary for him to get ready for independence.
I'll never get over that one earthquake moment where Momo ran to Genki to protect her. It was so beautiful. It must be hard over there with all those earthquakes! However, I love how resilient you guys are and how amazingly structured and strong the buildings are when severe earthquakes hit.
That was an amazing video capture. It revealed a lot about Momotaro’s personality. He always seems so aloof, but I think he really cares for his family. He just didn’t have the example of a father growing up.
YES !!! I remember that as well. He actually put his arm around her. Kintaro was very small. That was truly a wonder !❤💕

小さな地震でも怖くてビクッとします。とりあえず玄関のドアはすぐに開けにいった方がいいよと言われました。
地震対策として、２つ準備するのがいいらしいです。
１，ベッドの横に靴もしくはスリッパ。
地震が起きて、ガラスが割れると素足であるいた場合、痛くて外まで逃げれない。
2, 笛。
地震で倒れた物で身動きがとれない場合、声を出すのはほぼ不可能らしいです。でも、笛なら息さえできれば吹けます。
救助犬も笛の音はすぐに分かるそうです。
After 3 yrs of watching them I’m still amazed how kintaro flies across the ceiling swinging so hard the way he does but even tho he swings back n forth far it’s mostly his technique now instead of swinging so wildly across there with the small space between the grates in the ceiling like when he was 2 yrs old even in the rain n snow flying back n forth n side to side like he didn’t have much control I can’t believe he never fell thank god ! He’s an animal !!! N no wonder he’s packin on the pounds with the way he’s eating too, he’s gonna be bigger n stronger than his brother n his father, mark my words bc he’s the one who’s played n wrestled with two much bigger gorillas unlike them !!!
Yes, Kintaro plays with Gentaro like there’s no size difference. It will be interesting to see his personality develop as he gets older and relies less on his mother.

It is quite normal for adolescent gorilla and Gentaro is in the process of becoming a Silverback.
Me too, but truth is that when he is inside he's always messing up with his father, constantly. Momotaro's been too patient nevertheless he's outside when they're eating, he gets in later

Me too, but he is probably glad not to be around daddy when there is food until Momontaro feels in control of his dinner. Also normal for their ages.

ポンタさん。飼育員曰く、シロマティが鳴いてくれているのでまだ安心だそうです。本当に寂しいと鳴きさえもしないそうです。まだ、実感がないのかもですけどね。

1:11 Oh yes! 😂 This is quite familiar to me. I live in the USA, California, which is #2 on the list of top 5 states with the most earthquakes (Alaska us #1). However, I live in "the ring of 🔥 fire" Pacific ocean borders California, in which 90 percent of the world's earthquakes occur 😁. 1:22 Shaking occurs daily here although anything on the Richter scale of 4.0 and under you barely feel it, and can stay sitting on the couch, 1:50 or in the hay 😆. 5:14 5:58 Animals are highly sensitive, and can sense things us humans cannot. 6:18 😲 Look at that silverback in the making y'all 😍. 8:16 🤪 I'm swooning 💋. Winner: Most handsome category 🏆.

@@p.e.p2368 Let me be clear. Alaska is part of the states, and thus is #1 for seismic activity in the USA only. If we're looking at statistics regarding countries in the world that have the most earthquakes (in no particular order) they would be: Japan, China, India, Turkey, Indonesia, Iran. Big daddy 🦍 Momotaro though has excellent eyesight and perceptional hearing, and seems to be able to sense and hear the earthquakes approaching. Amazing, he is 😀.
Ok ,just be patient, you will witness both sons Gentaro 9 yrs old and his little bro 5 yrs old ,they will go inside and start a game of pole dancing and tag with ring around the pole ,

Possibly other animals must have noticed the tremor. Kintaro as well. Kintaro clings to his mother Genki when he feels uneasy.

Yes, she's notorious for it...pees and poops when even slightly anxious. This goes way back over a decade, there's a video on youtube 'momotaro and genki first cohabitation' ... tbf that's a stressful situation but still, its like a rocket launcher.

There's Genki long after breakfast and lunch, long after everyone else is done eating still pawing through the dirt for blades of grass. Can't believe 2 babies were conceived!!! Mono a meticulously clean gorilla looks to Genki to mate and she has an overstuffed mouth, grasping huge handfuls of food in both hands. Or the other sultry look she has......taking a big dump💩 into her own hand and throwing it or draping it on poor Kintaro.😖😖😖
