It's really amazing to hear the contrast of the rhythm guitar in The Stones as it developed over the years.
Keith could 'physically' play the song exactly like Brian....for about 30 seconds. Then the urge to set the "wobble" in motion would take over.
You can almost set your watch to Brian's playing.
On November 5, 1964 the Rolling Stones made their first appearance on French television!! (in the show "Quoi de Neuf?") where they perform It's All Over Now in playback.
Small problem: neither of the two guitarists has a strap on their instrument and they have to reassemble their guitars regularly...
Brian Jones appears to have no strings on his guitar!
We can assume that their own equipment was not available, and that French TV provided them without realizing the problem...

I carefully review all my comments, as well as requests.
I can't respond quickly to all of them because I want there to be a chronological logic in my videos.
But if life allows me, I will manage to make a restitution of the complete discography.

It's a Bobby and Shirley Womack song.
One of my all time favorite Stones tunes. Brian and Keith’s guitar dominate from beginning to end. Great intro and outro. Brian got that sound from his Vox Teardrop 12 string.

I read that John Lennon told Keith that he thought Keith's solo on this song was crap. It's not great, but it's not horrible either. Great job Jeremy! I love the tone you get with these songs!
I think Lennon was jealous, that solo is KILLER
Lennon could be a braggart sometimes.
Lennon is jealous because if you listen to his solo on the Beatles “You Can’t Do That” from a Hard Days Night it’s almost exactly like this lol, rockabilly meets Chuck Berry kinda thing.
Oh he said A LOT worse....and meant it....but he also didn't. Read his comments about Jagger sometime. Jagger and Lennon were pretty close in the 70s so it never effected their friendship.
Keith and George were friends and one of Keith's nickname for him was Farmer George. Keith's said on more than one occasion he thinks early Beatle guitar tone is "thin". That's not bad...but it's not good either. George agreed.
All those groups did that...and were friends.
Pete Townshend's initial comment about Pink Floyd was basically it was noise and the lead singer was a "lunatic who was in a mental hospital"...or something close to that.
Competition, jealousy and admiration is how these bands lived...and one reason why they made it.
It was also Lennon who invited Brian Jones to the "You Know My Name, Look Up The Number" session. Yes the song is weird as hell...but it's one of The Beatles sessions I actually would pick if I could "magically" be transported to see them record in person.

Now we're looking forward to Route 66, Down the Road Apiece and Walking the dog (studio versions, of course), the magic period, the times when everybody here in Brazil was buying only compact discs!
