All us Liverpool Fan in Japan's are so proud of Wataru Endo. It is a new lifestyle, a new culture, with new team mates and new expectations. But he is our national captain and he always leads by example and is a top notch exemplary professional. Liverpool is the perfect club for him with the family like culture and Klopp will unleash him at the right time when he is fully adjusted! You hit the nail on the head. It can take time to adjust to the Premier League, especially coming from the very different footballing culture in the Bundesliga. But you just know that Klopp is being careful in easing Endo into the English style of playing, and once’s he’s ready, Klopp will unleash him in the Premier League - as you wonderfully put it.
I'm from Liverpool & when I was younger I travelled to Japan and visited all the big cities Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, etc etc.. I loved Japan everyone was so friendly and kind, so when I heard Endo was signing I was thrilled I'd watched him play for Japan and I knew how good he was & he was a perfect fit for Klopp & Liverpool. When you upload the video's I'll watch them. Thank you & YNWA brother. 🙂

Wataru Endo is a leader; his positional play and closing down player is brilliant , making it difficult for the opposition to find a way through the defense. Klopp got Endo for a reason, and he's playing him

Completely agree, his closing of the passing channels is massively underrated. His experience shows!
I love that he looks to play the majority of his passes forwards and progress us quickly
Endo has been very good when he has played. It takes time to integrate and Klopp won’t throw players in unless they’re ready as it harms confidence in them and the team, he will get his chance and do well.
He’s turning 31, how long’s this integration gonna take?
@@T0M_X How long is a piece of string? Depends on way too many factors, though I imagine Klopp and Lijnders have a much better handle on it than we do. Besides, our midfield is so red-hot right now, Endo may have to focus on Europe and the domestic cups while the Cujo-Mac-Szoboszlai midfield does its thing in the PL.

I've massively enjoyed watching endo in the games he's played hard worker determined and is all for the team exactly what klopp wanted, excellent signing for peanuts
He knows Systematic Football,If you watch him play he knows how to mark the space inbetween the potential pass and his passing is great and passes forward starting attacks,Endo well done so far........YNWA
100% agree, he fulfills his function in Klopps system absolutely spot on without fuss. He is a monster of a player off the ball and his incisive passing is starting to come through!

Klopp has only won the league with a Japanese player on his team
Minamino is fantastic technically, but Endo's mentality is at the highest level. He literally oozes fighting spirit and is a deserved member of the mentality monsters
Wataru has everything to succeed at liverpool, 100% commitment to the cause, hard graft and work ethic is something that defines a liverpool players career and endears them to the fans.
It took Fabinho late Oct/ Nov to up his fitness and understand his role. I still remember football twitter idiots saying he'll return to France and PSG. There was a lot of gutter press pushing it too. After all, he was Mbappe's good mate too.
Endo maybe isnt a regular starter, but he'll give everything. Brilliant in his last 2 starts. A leader and another national team captain like Robbo, Van Dijk, Salah and Szoboszlai. We just need him in enough games to step up. No one is expecting him to be a pillar throughout the season, but he needs to be one when called upon. I just hope we get to see him enough times with the strongest XI players. Minamino, his countryman while a cup God suffered somewhat because he was a cup team player. Now look at him as a starter for Monaco in his best position? Man is thriving.

I love Endo for some reason, understated, humble, a grafter with the ideal menality. I'd like to see Endo get more game time in midfield with Macca and Szobozalai unleashed in front of him. Hopefully he gets his chances to shine. A great goal last week too. Thanks Endo.

I feel like this guy is the Japanese version of James Milner. Age doesn't really matter as he has a great engine, works hard and gives his all every game. Captain of Japan, so he has leadership qualities too. A solid addition to the LFC squad.

what i like about him is he always looking to pass forward, but often teammates fail to make a run, they still need to work on the teamwork. but endo is very fast to pass when he sees space. also still need to work on his tackle timing
Spot on. Love this in him. Always looking to do that cutting edge pass between the lines. Also, he doesn't keep the ball too long.
Also, about the tackle, I don't think he's really a tackle guy. I think he's more of a recover one, the one who reads the game and goes where the ball is gonna be. But we'll see. Been very impressed with him so far.
30 isn't that old, especially in today's football. He's industrious, has the right attitude, is a leader, and most importantly available. In some ways, that's what made Milner very important for us. Helps the younger players to build the right mentality. He can hopefully improve/get used to the pace more, but I think regardless he'll be an asset, especially in competing in multiple competitions.
