Life has an interesting way of reminding oneself how good things can be, even with the bad that may come before or after such notices: An old friend asks to hang out, extra time is allowed for a deadline, or a late morning commute has a stranger playing music outside the station. Whatever the case may be that causes the day to grow dark, there is always a small amount of light to give notice to what was hidden away.
