Kilo 03 I know right, I'm six weeks post-op and because I screwed up my meniscus too I needed an extra 4 weeks in that big ass bionic brace. _Not_ fun. PT has been hella painful, but ibuprofen is a best friend. Hopefully will hit the pitch and the wrestling mat by December.

First I didnt like it. Then I realized the first part was what they actually did and the second part was what they wish they could do. I got mixed up really bad. Once i realized MY mistake, this video made total sense. I liked it

I used to coach my daughter's soccer team probably from about 11 to 16. These videos ring so true for me.
Here's a story I have I had this one problem girl on the team (well not the only one but she was the ring leader) and I called a water break at practice and she cracked out her cell phone to catch up with the boyfriend while I was trying to talk with the white board. I threw it in the garbage (without hurting it.) She didn't like that at all but her mom thought it was great!
Same team the "cool girls" all wanted to take the PK's so we had a shoot out with me in net. My co-coach verified that I was not going out of my way to make any saves just the easy stuff and we wanted to see who could put the ball in the back of the net. For example I wasn't diving because I had to face so many shots I'd be beat up so if I would have needed to dive it went in. It wasn't the "cool girls" who got the high scores and they were shocked as all get out. Everyone on the team got 5 shots so it was pretty definitive. When the next actual PK came we gave it to the "looser girl" who had rocked the PK challenge and she put it away no problem. She went on to be top scorer.

About the handball thing.
It's a lifesaver.
My teammate handballed the ball before it went into goal during recess and I saved the penalty.
Since it was a class vs class during recess, there weren't any refs so he continued to play.

One thing other sports will thankfully never have to deal with is refs advantage time decisions, sometimes you’ll be one goal down, you’ll get a fast break after your defence, get on a easy breakaway or 1-1 and then the red will just call full or halftime. Like bruh, I was just about to get a really good chance to score and you’ve just called it

Hey I LOVE your videos, they are ALL so relatable. I Play soccer (goalie and defense) and I was wondering if you guys have any tips. It's ok if you can't respond I get it.
i know that this is 8 months late... but a tip for goalies is to have sign language or a thing u do that the team understands, for example if u want your defense to push up, do a "pushing up motion" so u don't have to scream at your teammates. make sure ALL of your teammates knows and understands these motions otherwise it defeats the purpose

Yhe sprints one is me all the time like in basketball , camogie and soccer i hate running but im the fastest in my year group so its kinda fun

I remember a game in a tournament quarter final (we played a 2-2-1 and I was in center back) where a shot came in and ohr other center back handballed it and gave away a penalty. We were 1-0 down the entire game until a clearance from me ended up with one of our strikers who slotted it into the bottom right corner. Nothing came of extra time so it went to penalties. Our first 2 penalties were saved and the other team had scored their second. I had the responsibility to put the ball on the spot and try to keep our tournament hopes alive. I managed to put it top right bins in a 7-a-side goal (roughly 1.6m high by 2.4m) and drew 1-1 into sudden death. The first two penalties were missed from the opposition and our 1st was, too. It was down to one of our least confident players but he kept his cool and scored the penalty so that we could advance to the semi finals. The semis were against the team that won our group so we were expecting a challenge. I was put on the bench (due to equal game time to makebit fair for everyone) and they scored right at the death to send us out of the tournament.
