    Just watched this for the third or fourth time. Great advice, Roger. Watched a couple of Manuel Del Torre (sp?) videos over the last few days and your teaching styles seem similar to me. No nonsense. Simple and straightforward. Focus on swinging the club. Love the part of this video where you say “we’re not all going to around here forever, let’s help each other out. That’s a great and generous attitude that I’m sure will serve you well. Anyway, thanks for the great guidance!😢

    This is probably video number 5 or 6 from you that I've watched. I'm a huge Mike Austin/Mike Dunaway fan but as I'm sure you know, their videos not the easiest to interpret. Your videos are helping me interpret the little things that I couldn't figure out for years even after watching them countless (way over 10). Between your videos and a grip change that I'd just incorporated before starting to watch you, I've gained 2 clubs in distance, which is not good on a back pin placement but I'll take it because it's progress! Anyway I'll take it and I thank you, thank you, thank you. I live in GA and hope I can find some time to come see you in person one day. Keep up the great work!

      Hi Roger I never knew this right hand movement explained like you have demonstrated. It’s transformed my backswing instantly 👍

    Roger I have done this when I started to.plsy golf and I was always told not to.raise my heel. I find it restricts my swing. Is it ok to lift the heel

    • @rkswingking
      @rkswingking  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes it is encouraged on swings that require full swings
      It will help in so many ways ..
      But don't force the heel up
      Should happen as a result of club swinging and body responding

    Roger,
    With this technique for longer distance is the arm coming down still the first move in the downswing or is it the rolling inwards of the right ankle or both at the same time ?

    • @rkswingking
      @rkswingking  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It will feel like same time but there is force before motion
      The right ankle rolls and pushes the left foot down and the arms swing as fast as you want the ball to go

    I have a drill that really helps me learn to rotate and get my arms into position. I have a tee about a foot off the ground and i actually use a tennis ball instead of a golf ball. I basically do the pump drill and when my club is at 9 o'clock on a downswing position i just finish rotating without using my arms any further but just using proper side bend to get to the ball and rotation to hit it. I can give it a good knock with just rotation. Really works on alot of body movements and balance points that a player may never fell if they swing incorrectly. Especially legs to drive and that compressed feeling of the arm triangle staying intact. Its fun too.
