I’ve been eyeing a Bravo for the past couple of years. Couldn’t decide between a 1 or a 1.25. Definitely wanted an LT and a rampless spine. The combination always seemed to be out of stock. But just today, I was watching TV and browsing the internet as usual when I came across the Fox River EXT-2. It had everything I wanted and was in stock at DLT Trading so I placed an order right away. It’ll be my 2nd 3V knife, first being a Cold Steel Master Hunter. Super duper knife. But I’ve always wanted a Bark River so here I am. Thanks for your review.

Any of those three knives will work really well. You can't beat that Bravo handle!

So how are you liking the knife? I just ordered one and should be getting it in 2 days

@@1mataleo1 Man, I really like it. It’s not as heavy duty as the Bravo’s I’m sure. It’s really thin behind the edge. Super slicey. Feels great in the hands to. Couldn’t ask for a better hunting knife. Oh, and there’s this old rumor going around the internet about how BRK heat treat is bad and some guy tried to chop those nice bamboo chopsticks and he chipped the edge. Well, I have a lot of those super hard bamboo chopsticks and am pretty handy with whetstones so I thought I’d give it a go. It took some serious whacks but I cut through them several times. The only mark on the edge is a tiny flat spot that you can only see in the right light. Still doesn’t catch the paper when I test cut. No chips. So whatever they’re doing to heat treat now, it’s good to go. Hope you like yours as much as I like mine.

    Ext-2 vs Tundra?

Hard choice. Tundra - better blade design. EXT-2 - better handle design. So...while both have good handles, I would opt for the Tundra because the blade is superb for big game hunting and skinning. It all boils down to nit-picky, ticky personal preference. I could happily use either all deer season.
