  • From the end of "Young Woman and the Sea". It was released this year despite the movie being copyrighted to 2023. Oddly, no WDSMP notice, implying this was probably going to be a straight-to-streaming movie before being rushed to theaters at the last minute.

    The streaming part is correct but the reason why Disney put it in theaters first is because they’re setting it up for an awards season campaign run and during awards season, the stipulation is that it has to have a theatrical run first before it can qualify for awards season.

      Not only that the streaming service it's not making a profit and Disney transfer their content from streaming back to theatrical releases in order to bring back their audiences after the pandemic

    Ironically, both post-anniversary variants were completed in 2023.

    No WDSMP Notice Because The Movie Was Originally Going To Be Set On Disney+, But Disney Decided To Do A Theatrical Release Instead Due To The Date Being Delayed, Also Due To The COVID-19 Pandemic.
