I like that this is the opposite of a toxic breakup and ackwnowledges that sometimes it doesnt work out, regardless of anyone being in the wrong. Every other love song makes about blaming the other person.
Well honestly I can see this also as another perspective like a toxic ex that didn't/doesn't understand why the person left cause they can't admit to themselves that they were honestly a toxic "partner" so then basically forced the other person out the door cause they refused to better their actions towards them and kept getting worse with how they blindly kept hurting them and not seeing the pain they truly caused them. So honestly in that situation the person can't see the reason the person left was actually their bad treatment they didn't see as "that bad" or refuse to except all together, so instead they wish that the other did something that would make them the bad person and them the ignorant "victim" and think it gets themselves out of the wrong while still gaslighting people.
