Subscribed. Grew up a Tigers fan when they would just mash other teams to paste with Cecil Fielder, Mickey Tettleton, Rob Deer, and Pete Incaviglia. Good times.
I’m 51 now. Rob, you were one of my favorite sluggers as a child! I’m so glad I got to see/hear this! Go Brew Crew! Man do I miss the 80’s! (#45) “Brewin Up A Storm”
This was absolutely awesome! I can't wait for more episodes. I am looking forward to hearing from some of your former Brewers teammates, but it is really interesting finding out who some of your friends are from other teams as well. Keep up the great work!
The date of that Todd Benzinger Walk-Off Homer was July 20, 1988, for anyone who wants to look up the box score. I was really excited for this inaugural episode, and I look forward to more! Merry Christmas! (Edit: The Full NESN Broadcast is on Brian Fleming’s Channel if You want to watch the previously mentioned game)
As a lifelong Tigers fan, Dan Gladden is not,,, well he wrecked the tigers when we would face them... Joe Nathan another twin that reeked havoc on the Tigers at critical times... it's funny I loathed Larry Bird and I think he was great now...but, Chicago teams, notre dame, boston teams and Cindy err sidney crosby I still despise but I've always sorta liked the twins so Gladden I am starting to like LOL.... this rant really is a amage to good teams and players that beat teams I pull for
Danny is an excellent broadcaster also. He played the game the right way.
Love it, Rob.

Nice. Loved the stories. How about Jack Morris for a guest.

love the podcast coach rob!
Rob Deer! I remember when he came up in the Giants' system and hitting moonshots for the Tigers on the corner of Michigan and Trumbull.
TH-cam! Thanks for this showing up in my feed. Just what I’m looking for. 🤯
Both former Detroit Tigers. Man, Rob Deer hit moon shot homers, just crushed it. Dan Gladden was a good tough ball player. Subscribed 👍
Love listening to Danny on the radio!
This is great, love this stuff. I could listen to these stories for days. Keep it up!
Rob 'Bomb-ba-Deer'...one of my all-time favorite sluggers. Great seeing Dan Gladden as well. Good luck with the show, Rob!

I’m so happy you went to a chiropractor Rob! They’re lifesavers
I remember Bill James made a case for Deer being better than Tony Gwynn. I believed him then, now not so much, but still underrated.
