I have a C210 for 2 months now and after owning the amazing E40 and S40, I can honestly say I don't trust it. My E40 somehow got water in it and my S40 just randomly quit working so I got the C210 because it was much cheaper and love how compact it is. I have to press all motion then go out to home screen and back several times before the all motion mode stays on which is so strange. Then here's the other strange thing, once it's in all motion mode, it just detects motion allll day for no reason making the notifications super annoying and inaccurate even if I lower the sensitivity to 1 or 2. U Also have Not given Any Detail on what type of Solar Power panel is Needed - Some People have bought the wrong one & found out it had Not enough Power from the solar !!!!!!
Depends on many factors such as the number of detections, the number of recordings and the temperature. These do not last 3 months like stated by Eufy. Maybe 3 weeks with not too many detections in a not too cold climate.
Eufy video out and if someone grabs them and pushes the sink button it erases all the previous and current videos that particular camera took, turns out they’re junk and Eufy says it works as designed when asked about it on the Eufy forum
Just to clarify...what will happen is that the camera will reset just like what I showed in the video when adding it to the homebase 3...technically, the footage is still there but will just not be accessible. Eufy knows this issue and supposedly they will fix it.
@@LifeHackster their response on the forum is after looking at it, it works as designed. So if someone grabs your camera and runs it’s gone and so is the footage. I believe they at this time have no intention in making changes.

The Nest Cam Battery is actually pretty good for a 1080P camera.
Could you do a video on upgrading an existing Eufy home base 2 system to the home base 3?
There is no easy way as far as I know... you have to resetup all your cameras and when you reset it, old recordings will not be accessible. I'm not sure if Eufy is working on something that will make the transfer easier.
Thanks for the reply, I was afraid of that. Guess I’ll be pulling down all my cameras.
Is it working on home base 2?
No.
Do you have any reviews for Hikvision POE cameras by chance?
No Hikvision yet...
@@LifeHackster Do a hikvision POE vs the rest of POE?
Great job, thank you. God bless
Wyze just had a HUGE security breach. People could view others cameras as of about an hour ago or less.
Eufy is even worse! Literally streams unencrypted back to their servers then they lied about it and just changed their ToS rather than fixing the problem
do you review the LTS wired cameras?
Do you have to pay for the Eufy app download ?
No.
Nice one LH love your reviews 👍🏾
U Also have Not given Any Detail on what type of Solar Power panel is Needed - Some People have bought the wrong one & found out it had Not enough Power from the solar !!!!!!
Do you have a Homebase 3 video?
I don't have a separate video on it but I talked about it in my Eufy Cam 3 review video.
Does anyone know how long it will stay charged in optimal surveillance mode?
Depends on many factors such as the number of detections, the number of recordings and the temperature. These do not last 3 months like stated by Eufy. Maybe 3 weeks with not too many detections in a not too cold climate.
@@Frankdem99 I agree. Mine is ready to be charged after a week. I'm returning it! Thank you!
15FPS seems low, is this normal?
Normal for Eufy... they do need to bump it up...
so that solar camera has a wire in front of the camera, that must get annoying
Hey I saw eufy is using your videos for there ads on Facebook I hope your being compensated
Thanks for the heads up and yes, Eufy compensated me to use my videos for their ads.
I just want to see who is at my door before answering it. Do I have to wait 2 minutes to find out or can I see immediately?l
You can see the snapshot in the notification or when you click on it, it will go to the start of the motion event…so yes, you can see immediately.
@@LifeHackster That's good. It might suit me then. Thanks for that.
Eufy video out and if someone grabs them and pushes the sink button it erases all the previous and current videos that particular camera took, turns out they’re junk and Eufy says it works as designed when asked about it on the Eufy forum
Wait what? So this is useless. That "feature" makes no sense.
@@makatroncorrect and thankful I only bought one to try to replace my Blinks when I found out!
Just to clarify...what will happen is that the camera will reset just like what I showed in the video when adding it to the homebase 3...technically, the footage is still there but will just not be accessible. Eufy knows this issue and supposedly they will fix it.
@@LifeHackster so I got the thief on camera, just can't show it to the authorities 🤣
@@LifeHackster their response on the forum is after looking at it, it works as designed. So if someone grabs your camera and runs it’s gone and so is the footage. I believe they at this time have no intention in making changes.
I bought three of these and they are completely unreliable. Too many events missed. I also bought the 220 and have the same issue. I am returning them at the third day.
how easy it is to just yank it out and walk away with it?
If you can reach it..it is pretty easy. This applies to any other cameras as well.
