I like the first and third ones. It has been more than twenty years since I've done the second one. This was a great refresher course as haven't done any gills either in the last 20+ years. Thank you. 👍🎣❤️👋

Great choices and yes the second one doesn't get used much nowadays from what I have seen! So glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching!

Great video. I do not clean them because I do not eat them. You taking the scales off reminded me of how dad cleaned them

I’m a number one kind of guy myself, but my papaw likes number 2 because of the fins being so crunchy! Haha. I always love rolling my fillets in mustard, and then a seasoned fish fry and dropping them in hot oil! Thanks for sharing! Those were all 3 really great methods!

Yes, the first one is definitely the easiest and my go to fillet style most of the time! I have never rolled them in mustard so I will definitely need to try that! Great tip! Thanks Mat and Sophie for watching! We appreciate y'all!

I like the first way. But I do stake big crappie.

I can completely understand that! Yes, Crappie require a bit more work but are definitely worth it! Thanks for watching AOA!

Excellent demonstration, Jim! You are a born instructor! Fantastic camera work on this tutorial, as well. Haven’t cleaned fish in years, but method 1 is what we used to use. All 3 are effective from your demonstration here. Great job!
