Great series of videos from Iceland Garry, fantastic locations and some super images certainly more photogenic than the Blyth outlet pipe, always look forward to your next post, keep up the good work, Ron
I love seing how photographers approach a new location and how they go about selecting the shot they want and how they want it to appear. You 100% make Iceland look like aphotographers, paradise, albeit one needing to be dealt with with snow- tyres, warm clothing and a decent pair of wellies! It's also great to see that, as some-one who works with the natural world; how your photos show the best of what there is without burning our eyeballs with ramped up colours etc. You've made another cracking video - one of the photography vloggers I love to watch.
Had to be there early to beat the crowds. We lefts at a boot 8:30 just as the first coach pulled in to the carpark. As for Vestrahorn, it’s so far from Reykjavik and so large, I don’t think crowds would ever be a problem. Thanks for watching mate. Appreciate it as always. 👍🏻
Stunning Garry, place I've always wanted to visit, really good production value to your video too, that intro was brilliant and the images you captured are incredible!
Wow, magical location and stunning photos. Regarding the tripod sinking on the beach...I think I saw it in a Thomas Heaton video he carried 3 empty DVD's in his bag for this purpose. When shooting long exposures on the beach in the sand he placed those under the tripod feet. It prevents the tripod from sinking. Since then I also have them in my bag, they literally weigh nothing.
Thank you. I’ve used the CD trick in the past but had a few float away 🙂 so gave up on the idea. Manfrotto make proper sand/snow feet… so bought some of those… and never remember to pack them 🤣
Great video again Garry definitely a location to put on the list! 👍👍👍👍
Thanks Simon.
It’s still on my list…. Desperately want to do a return visit 👍🏻
A stunning video from a place that is just epic having been about 4 times.
Thank you
Thank you for sharing your experience of Iceland 🙂👍
And thank you for taking the time to watch and comment. Really appreciate it 👍🏻
Well that was epic on another scale! Awesome place, awesome shots 👍👍
Thank you. Now on with planning the next adventure…. Flights just been booked for Norway!!!

Thank you very much for those kind words. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Hi Garry wow! Those 2 locations are my favourites from the trip so far especially the waterfall and great to have it to yourself.

What a place, super shots, I want to go 😮
Get saving… and I’ll join you 👍🏻
Absolutely gorgeous scenery. Short of a rainbow and a unicorn, it doesn't get much better than this. 👍
@@Sherbz Cheers Sherbz. Glad you enjoyed it 👍🏻👍🏻

Fantastic vlog man, stunning, what time of year was this
Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment. Very much appreciated. This was the first week in April. A real mix of sunshine and blizzards!
@@garrysugdenphotography fantastic, we went a few years back around that time, and we had similar weather. Love the place
