I was born and brought up in Mysore. Moved to Bangalore, then Noida, Delhi and Gurgaon for work. Last year, I moved to Dubai. But no other city is as beautiful and special as Mysore.
Incredible presentation. I showed the whole 2 hours to my 93-year-old Pop. He said he could recognize the zoo of his youth. Everything has changed so much for the better. When he was a boy, the Maharaja would give free tickets to good students. He also told me that he commissioned a special car for the zoo director.

One of my favourite destinations in Mysore. Mysore Zoo and KRS. Had lots of childhood memories here. Used to go there almost every other Saturday noon after school. I was a student volunteer at the Zoo back then, so I had free entry as well. Thank you Sudeesh sir for bringing us glimpses of the most beautiful city in the world.

Good and well maintained zoo with lot of animals and birds.Very good information and well explained.Children will benefit enormously from such programmes.The narrator has done a good job by giving detailed information regarding habitat,lifespan,food habits including zoo food,animal behaviour,countries inhabited by particular animals or birds,breeding habits etc and hence educationally very beneficial.Worth visiting.

Thank you Sudesh for this 2hr long journey of the Mysore zoo. It's was a long long time ago when I was below 15 along with my family had visited the zoo,it's more than 35yrs now. Have many times passed in front of the zoo seeing those giraffes but till now couldn't make it inside for some reason or the other. I heartily thank you for forgetting myself on this earth for almost 2hrs.The zoo then & how it's now has motivated me to visit again now. I visited this zoo long long ago in a school tour (mysuru-- bangaluru) from kerala..later i was thinking about this beautiful place where it was actually ,later forgot the name,but only know it was a cool place with full of trees,,,finally i got its name "chamaraja zoo mysury" after watching this video...also there was a battery operated road-train in that zoo at that time

The price of 80rs for adults is extreme day light robbing, and when u go inside each cage has boards begging the vistors to adopt , and many have been. i was one few years back......but the real thing is that this zoo is poorly maintained and its just NOT wroth 80rs per visit ...Pardon me sudeesh
Sir please try to keep a bird and calculate its cost . 80rs is worth it . Adoption is not about begging . Just keeping 1 single macaw will cost you 3 to 4k per month .

I am not aware that so many temples, falls, forts,dams and other interesting places were existing in our old Mysore state except a few famous till I viewed the videos by you. These videos throw light how our maharajas and their associates like sir m.vishveshwariah, sir Mirza Ismail were concerned with the welfare of the people. It is astonishing that rulers had built dam in 12 the century using mud and stone only. Videos educate us regarding scientific, architecture, astronomy, mythology, entertainment, engineering skills and creative knowledge of our civilization. It's was a long long time ago when I was below 15 along with my family had visited the zoo,it's more than 35yrs now. Have many times passed in front of the zoo seeing those giraffes but till now couldn't make it inside for some reason or the other.
I heartily thank you for forgetting myself on this earth for almost 2hrs.The zoo then & how it's now has motivated me to visit again now.

I visited this zoo long long ago in a school tour (mysuru-- bangaluru) from kerala..later i was thinking about this beautiful place where it was actually ,later forgot the name,but only know it was a cool place with full of trees,,,finally i got its name "chamaraja zoo mysury" after watching this video...also there was a battery operated road-train in that zoo at that time

The price of 80rs for adults is extreme day light robbing, and when u go inside each cage has boards begging the vistors to adopt , and many have been. i was one few years back......but the real thing is that this zoo is poorly maintained and its just NOT wroth 80rs per visit ...Pardon me sudeesh
Sir please try to keep a bird and calculate its cost . 80rs is worth it . Adoption is not about begging . Just keeping 1 single macaw will cost you 3 to 4k per month .
This is the best zoo in whole country..you 80 rupees are nothing.
