This is the video of my trip to Americana on August 11, 1998. This is the 2ed trip we made to the park. I hope it brings back some memories for others that may have enjoyed the park before it closed.

So many great memories!! I remember going back in the 70s and 80s. It was always full of people. I'm going to show my age. I remember when the cool goul can to the park. People came from all over the world to see. Thank you for sharing!!

It's coming back Monroe got a plan of 10 million dollars and they're gonna put a park back there again it's all over the news

Went there every summer from 81 to 92. Never had a better time anywhere else as a kid. Really sad that it's gone.

Your video definitely takes me back... my heart hurts for what Americana has become.... people fly drones over the old abandoned park, TH-cam Americana drone ... weird they even drained the lake... its now a grassy field.... our family used to go there quite often when i was younger...

Took my kids when they were little! 'It was more of an Indiana Beach or Coney Island type park. Small, reasonable,geared to kids & families

I was going to go back in 1999 but it was closed so we did are first time at Kings Island.

MissAmazanda they reopened for a small time after the fire but they didn't make the money they used to and had to close.
