Aye bro I think you should make a song with the title "basketball and bxtches" it sounds fire asf and I would love to hear it (also keep on the good work this vid actually helped me)
Which is why he then worked towards his own goal and unlocked ultra ego. Let's not forget he unlocked ssg without any shortcuts or help. That girl getting pregnant would be a blessing if she was in her mid 20's but at 18 that's hell, that girl is gonna have a slow start in life and have to deal with a child she isn't prepared for yet fully!
i feel bad for that kid cause he gonna feel like his mom is less his mom and more of a sister and when he at that age his own friends will prolly be hitting on his mom
I peaked at 11th grade, and was frustrated when my popularity and reputation slowly went downhill 12th grade. back as a teen, I only desired to peak in high school, but graduating without all that fame allow me to see who I was that isn't present in everyone's vision of me.
@LewisKillar I had much adventures in high school so I had no regrets, however, if I were to go back in time I would tell myself that fame and external validation shouldn't be an identity. "Embrace the future, but never forget how far you came"
I had similar, I peaked the summer before and during grade 9 and after I became antisocial partly due to the pandemic and my entire friend group broke up and then I was alone for the rest of my highschool life. I had friends but nobody close to me. My best friends moved away and ghosted me and I was so sad that I couldn’t peak again. Now I’m out of highschool amd I do NOT care at all about “peaking”. Live your life according to you
I was always ambitious in highschool. Didn't peak in HS. Was the quiet kid, who got bullied and kind of ostracized. Had like 3 friends in a class of 200. I didn't have any regrets because I tried a lot to make friends and the people just didn't like me. Right now, I'm doing good. Still filled with ambition and the world is open to me in a way it never had before.
I attempted suicide and almost succeeded in high school. Now I got my own place and a cat. I definitely didn't peak in high school just for those two things alone lol
Is weird I thought I peaked in 2017-2019 in my early 20s 2020-2022 I hit rock bottom and now I’m 27 years old lose all my friends and I drop out of high school in 2014 honestly I never peak in life yet
Im a freshman in high school and I already feel like I’ve failed academically in life but this really comforts me I’m glad I’m not the only one feeling like this in high school
You haven’t failed academically, you have plenty of time to get your act together. Work hard and don’t compare yourself to others or stay trapped in the past. Nothing starts until you take action!
which means there's nowhere to go but up, so get up every single day with vigor, ready to take on the day's challenges because you have to potential to reach greatness if you allow yourself to be better
I had the opposite problem in highschool. I wish I focused on the present more and enjoyed that time. I studied and got great grades, made friends, and I did things I was passionate about and had a lot of cool opportunities and experiences, but I was so jaded about everyone around me and looked forward to getting out with a solid plan. I hated how fake others seemed and was truly depressed. Of course life does what it’s good at and ruins expectations for my future, and I had to 180, go to a community college, and figure things out. I wish I made closer relationships, even if they only lasted during those years at school. I wish I went to parties and did the things that self improvement youtubers called “stupid wastes of time” in highschool, and in college. Those are experiences to be had that I never did. Make a few mistakes, be a kid. Don’t spend all that time preparing for a future that will never be certain.
Yeah exactly. But also don't be peeved if your time isn't then and there. If you were the kid to not go to parties because you didn't get invited, prepare YOUR future that doesn't involve those people.
Exactly as a kid you need to have fun last thing you want is to be somewhat successful and be socially awkward or getting into trouble as a well off adult because you weren’t experiencing those things as a teenager or early 20s it happens all the time
You make a great point. But you still have to look at the future. If you're gonna make friends, do it with people you know will keep the friendship alive. I for example had good connections in high school, not great, but everyone was a friend to me and we hung out. Now after high school and mid college, all those people are gone. And they forgot about me too. Maybe just a couple friendly messages here and there. But that's it. So I kinda regret investing time in the people that were there. And they were also kinda boring to be honest. So luck is a big factor here. I'd say it's not too late to make friends and if you do, aim for those friendships that will last. I had a mid experience in high school, but others would say I had a great experience and peaked in high school. Honestly, I don't even remember exactly. Those were just 4 years. I am 22 now and still need good friends to keep life fun. I hope this made sense. -edit cause typo
Basically the moral of the story is love yourself and be happy first then build your career, I've already learned something without watching the video but I'm curious so I'd watched it anyways. lol
@@Watchdog-e9f Don't let depression and low self esteem get to you, you are better then you atcually realize. Just because other people hate you dosen't mean that you atcually need to be depressed. All you have to do is not give a shit about what they think about you and don't think about them, think only about yourself and the ones you love.
glad i didn’t fall into that group. i much prefer being an adult than being a minor. my mental health is better, my knowledge is bigger, i have more access to resources, and i know what i want to do with my life now hs is just a small part of your life, that’s why it’s best to live your life in your own timeline/pace. as long as you’re alive that’s what matters most. real success isn’t determined by material and status, but on inner peace and self acceptance
In my opinion you shouldn’t tell yourself your going to peak one day. Your potential is limitless. Every day you can learn something new. Every day you can get just a little bit stronger.
Ngl this video right here is indefinitely the best video ive ever watched from an teaching standpoint bc lots of kids in high school are at the point where they are trying to find themselves and this video shows the correct way how to do it. Hands down.
The best vid you ever watched!? Wow thank you man I really appreciate that shit 💯 glad I could help I love y’all man reading yall feed back really be making this shit so worth it
Don't keep your eggs all in one basket. You gotta be realistic about what's gonna pay the bills. What is something people are always gonna need, what's your strategy.
You better fucking PREACH! Im 27 years old class of 2k15! Everything happens for a reason. I went to school with people that were smart and teachers put on pedestals all through K-12. I remember being so envious of those kids because they got all the rewards while I was making either below average or average grades, studying hard, and sacrificing my free time to sustain those grades. It seemed like everything was coming easily to them while I had to work hard for grades. I remember crying and telling my big sister (who was a straight A student) saying “I never get awards at school because I’m not smart enough like the other kids.” She looked at me and said “Keep doing your best, your doing fine in my eyes, wait until after high school and things will come easily to you.” ever since then she had to constantly remind me that I’m doing good and needed to study more on certain subjects (which I did). My parents scrapped up money to put me in after school tutoring. My whole family invested in my education growing up. Years later after I graduated high school I went straight into college, and found out that the kids I once envied never went to college or dropped out. Some became bitter baby moms, some worked good jobs making more money than I did, getting cars & apartments or worked minimum wage jobs at the time. But I kept pressing on. I stayed with my parents during college, again envying people that were ahead of me because I wanted my own place and a well paying job. The whole time I was in college working fast food while balancing school. It was such a GRIND but it paid off and I finally got my Masters Degree recently, no lie, I was being hella braggadocious because I grinded for 7 years for that. My graduation pictures where all over people’s timelines 🤣. I got my own place, my own car and working a good job that pays really good that aligns with my major. Now I’m going to nail school in a few months because nails was my original passion as a kid. So I want a trade skill license along with my Masters degree. So we doubling up on money over here. Looking back, I would’ve told myself to stay in my own lane and focus on my own stuff and to be PATIENT. Slow growth creates stronger roots. So now I’m blessed to work a job I like a lot & eventually a job a job that I’m passionate about. My sister was right things in my adult life are coming so easily to me now because of the work I put in back then. It all paid off ❤️💎
Bro I’m doing that rn at 22 feeling like Alan I was a average joe and wanted to just go with the flow until I realized that mentally ain’t for me and I wanna fix my shit before 30
It's kinda sad seeing people who dedicate their lives to one thing as someone who is basically involved in everything. I'm a 3 sport highschool athlete that also does theatre and a lot of the arts myself and I have never been happier. People always be tryna get you to hone in on one thing but honestly just do what makes you happy and don't be afraid to try new things
Well It's not that I can't do other things but rather I don't want too. Focusing on one thing is waay better then focusing on other bullshit for no reason at all only to realize later that you can't do everything in life. Human brain is not able to comprehend all the things that you atcually want to do so really, It's not that sad as you claim it out to be.
I’m a nerd but I’m on the border of being someone absolutely nobody likes or cares about. When you experience having nobody to lean on it really makes you value the people you can call friends. Don’t take your friends for granted is something I’ve learned in the past 6 months or so. I used to have a lot of friends and I didn’t really think about how lucky I was to have them until I lost them all switching schools.
Guys go to all of your classes and study but also don’t forget to have friends and go out at least once per week. When i was in highschool i always thought it was better for me to stay alone and “focus on my self “ but i ended up becoming really depressed and when you top that with the anxiety i always had…things became really difficult. We are social animals, don’t forget that.
This video really helped me get back on track on doing what im passionate about. For awhile now i haven't been as passionate about gaming and content creation as i have in the past and i have been avoiding making youtube videoes but now you've showed me that pushing towards your dreams is more important then anything you could ever do in life. Thank you for this wonderful message.
I feel the same way dude. I'm passionate about making my own manga and anime but i let that passion sit on the backburner. Back before i graduated high school though, i used to draw a lot, i drew my own DBZ oc from Xenoverse 2 and i drew my own oc and i'm planning on drawing more for my own universe and other things i love like videogames and anime but like i said, my passion for my own potential in my own path in art is on the backburner but i think with my own motivation and this video, it'll help me get back on track.
The millisecond you graduate high school, what you did or who you were becomes almost meaningless. What you learned, and how you use it is important. Making it as a professional athlete is possible....but the odds are really low...better have backup plans ...
I was aimless in high school, cared what people thought of me, and did nothing significant. After high school I floated for a while… Fast forward I’m now 26 getting married working a trade making 100k a year. Don’t give up. Just move forward and keep a positive attitude and good people around
Everything you just said... Was literally who I was in highschool... I was too afraid to become better, I became a follower and not a leader, afraid to change, and to fail... and at every turn, I've been having thoughts of giving up my life... I thought I was the problem to everyone, even the people at my church, my friends and family... But I didn't give up hope because I had faith and hope... God was with me, I'm proud to say I still live with my momma and support her, worked hard and kept going on the path I was supposed to be on... And on my journey of redemption (making up for the wrongs I've done and the mistakes I made in the past)... I devoted my life to the most high, and vowed to better myself moving forward in life... And I truly stand on that.
as a 8 grader in middle school who is gonna go to high school next year, ima just gonna say this video is kinda like a “coming to age to prepare urself irl”
The fact that I get this video recommended to me while Im at a point that Im close to gratuating And thinking a lot about my future says a lot mad respect to you man
@@kolejohnson2836 yo my man if u wanna some advice id say from experience: Dont let womens be your goal nor take them seriously, i used to simp a girl and she destroyed me, NEVER get a girlfriend on highschool, if something bad happens between us it will most likely start to be spreaded, focus on your grades and ignore all those guys who personality is partying and sports, yes, you should try going to the gym or things like that, but NEVER prioritize something other than your family over your grades, trust what i say. Good luck
The best quote ive ever heard but don't know where it comes from goes like this. "cool people aren't the ones following the trends. They're the ones making the trend"
you don't know how much i needed to hear those words, pressure to be a genius to gain familial validation was breaking my back, "do what u wanna do", thank you.
This is a good video. Reflecting on my highschool experience, I was severely depressed because I never fit in, it was never my goal. I was bullied constantly because of it, had no friends in school, every day I spent lunch in the bathroom. Senior year I was considering suicide, I thought I was the problem. It was a nightmare. But when I graduated, I spent the summer with the few close friends I had, and I was slowly becoming more happier. I started going to the gym and focusing on myself, and I discovered stuff about myself during this period. I loved writing, I love making stories or just sharing my opinions. I loved nature, it was a passion that finally helped me decide what I wanted to do in life. Ever since I left that building, I was able to become my true self, and writing this now in college I’m finally happy. If anyone reading this is going through something similar to what I was experiencing, it gets better. Highschool can be the worst experience. But if you stay true to yourself and stay focused, you can’t lose.
Even if your job doesn't end up being your job, make sure you are always following your passions, so that you have goals in life that have meaning to you.
i love watching your videos cause i really see myself in your stories twin and your advice has opened my mind to so many paths. i truly appreciate your videos bro your a great role model.
Maaann thank you 🥹 honestly I’m just a regular dude tryna make it in life it’s crazy a lot of have have gone thru the same shit so I think that helps with it feeling relatable but in short I’m glad you rocking with me gang I’m def rocking with yall 💯
I'm a Freshman in High School who was once interested into becoming a Finance Manager so i joined Business, i really didn't like it so right now the only thing i see that's interesting is being a content creator but I'm still looking for more possible careers. Thanks for the inspiration too man
I try to up my peak everyday whether it’s knowledge or fulfillment. I already want to start another job knowing I’m taking 10+ senior classes, learning a new language, exercising more often and just overall grinding in all my aspects of life. I don’t believe in a peak.
i graduated 2 years ago, never peaked in high school but one thing that stuck with me was the fact that i literally made ZERO friends. i only send occasional memes to 1 person and we dont even hang. im in college now and one thing i can say for sure is im way more advanced than i was in high school. started my own animated series project, and im starting my own robotics company which is why im studying computer science now. i regret not socializing enough as im doing now in college cuz when i graduated people were acting like we was cool, like bro wtf did yall not keep this same energy before the day of graduation? i cant stop thinking about that and often have dreams about it and honestly i should probably seek therapy or sumn idk. its just not an easy task to make friends😭 but my advice to anyone in high school is make some damn friends. if you have some sort of passion make a business out of it because working a 9-5 is ghetto asf. for anyone who peaked in high school, your life literally just began. there's still time to make something of yourself, start small and let go of the past so you can make room for your future. its gonna be hard but you wont have any choice but to adjust to it. you'll be great :) anyways thanks for hearing me vent bye ✌🏾
I can relate. I graduated in June, I also wish I had done things I did now that I did in high school, especially having confidence. I’m very thankful to God I didn’t peak after high school, I did however hit rock bottom because I wasn’t sure what to do with my life after missing the only two chances I had to start college and also due to people Ihad considered y friends didn’t bother to keep in check with me as I would them, even going as far as having a get together without me (I may be putting my expectations for friends too high🤷♂️) However, I am greatful I picked up that Bible, it really helped getting me out of that tough time which motivated me to take better care of myself than I did in high school, and now I have a goal I’m currently working towards which may possibly lead my into increasing my finances in the process. Jesus saves!!😎
"because working a 9-5 is ghetto asf" if you have to work a 9-5 to survive thats just the way it'll be til you reach the goals you've set for yourself, but no need to cast shade on 9-5's wither its a dead end cashier job or high end position.
I'm kind of the same, although I did have friends in high school, I never made an effort to stand out, even though I did. But it never really went to my head. But when I left high school, I realized my passion for creating stories and I'm in the middle of creating my own manga. I kind of want to start an amateur website to publish it on. I'm just glad standing out in high school wasn't a priority for me at all, I hated high school and just wanted it to be over with.
I don't watch your content but I found this video and I find a lot of things I have seen resonate with myself. I luckily feel like I am going down a good path. I think you are a very good influence to your viewers. Life isn't easy but you gotta keep going to do what you wanna do and find the things you need to know to reach success. I hope you gain 100k soon.
I keep telling myself it’s time to change, kept saying that and nothing happened. I realize now it’s time to stop speaking it and instead, do it. Thank you for helping me realize that gang 🙏
Back when I was in school I just wasnt really confident, and I had no idea what I wanted to do. I did like space, math, games, physics, and computers though, despite me not being great at either of them. I mean just recently, I'm 22 btw, I wanted to learn how to design circuit boards, electronics, and how to apply calculus and some theory. It's genuinely interesting when you see how math and electronics intertwine and I only saw so late after school and dropping post secondary to save on money. Gonna work, save, game, and study without going bankrupt going into post secondary. Btw when I went to post secondary for 2 years, it was a grant, nor a loan or our own money.
I abused my mind and didnt bothered learning or seeking goals outside school. Close to 12th grade the cracks began to pop. At uni I failed to keep up easily as I had no incentive or plan for life. I guess I was cursed with being too smart to see I relied without thinking on my abilities too much
Today you got a new subscriber. I was the geek, the nerd in HS. I gained popularity in my senior year for my intelligence and ingenuity. I made university work for me. I became a busy body for 5 years. But that was my peak after college. But I got a second chance and bid my friends goodbye and changed countries 1/2 a world away. I've waited my time out (13 years), and now I'm getting stronger and better at what I love. But just thought I'd tell you, don't give up! You got this!
Peaking in highschool? Brother I peaked in elementary 😭 Venting Time: I peaked at 5th grade, but as all of you may know there was this thing called covid 19 that struck the entire world. I lost all of my friends and im not as academically well off as I was before. Im now a sophomore in highschool. No friends for 5 years and im slowly walking towards tha path of no going back. This video lit a fire inside me. Its finally time I make a change instead of just leaving it to the future me to deal with my problems.
Moral of the story love yourself and be happy first then build you career and if you don’t know what you wanna do for your career do lots of things untill you find it
Another banger video BERTO 🔥🔥 this is one of the real videos I’ve seen on TH-cam recently. Cuz I’m a senior in high school and I don’t know what I wanna do yet. So thanks for inspiring me to get out there.
Yo bro, Im in 9th grade right now and I feel like really did need this a bit. I appreciate what youre saying because I feel like youre not just making up random sh** just to sound motivational but youre really speaking from the heart. I heard everything you said and I am taking it and using it in a different way for myself but either way this video really did help me and i think it'll help me in the future as well. Thanks man, u js gained a subscriber😂
As an aspiring animator starting gcses soon this video really opened my eyes, it helped me realise that I need to stop caring what others think and try my best, ty for this video bro ✌🏿
My uncle was a soccer player in high school. Didn’t care about grades, didn’t know what he wanted to do in life, and that all changed when he broke his knee. That was his gr.12 year. He locked in, got his grades up to 90s, and got into Ryerson University ( the top 1 university for engineers in Canada ) Fast forward, he’s getting married in July, he is a consultant chemical engineer, and moved to one of the biggest cities in the USA ( not disclosed for his privacy )
"I never comment often however as a student that is above a sorta teen age i won't say much, for my privacy of course and still being in school in 11th grade i'm a beginner artist, im here thinking to be a online artist, sell my art or any type of art in my mind that is fully improved and beautiful like the ones in other YT videos, i often compare myself to others or my peers that improved their art in a way that looks pretty" "side note i always do, my art consist in a way with digital and chibi style since thats the closest often use pinterest for reference or to follow along but i would give credit or write in in the right of a sheet of paper" Ps:i can sorta relate to this but the thing is im still in school so my goals and dreams are still on the line of the back of my mind sorry for the huge like paragraphs or sm but i appreciate you talking of this! I seen some of your videos today and your art looks awesome and cool! Keep going! Since that could be a more awesome art style than it aready is!" "Thank you for reading!
Thank you man for the video btw I live in the Philippines in my high School I always feel like failures in study I can be scared if I get low grade and low score and i felt scared if my classmate think I haveweird about me my fear drag me in the darkness but I need to escape the darkness I need totowards the light but my science gives me some confidence I feel not scared anymore but not kinda. It doesn't matter how low or high enough your grades are you need to be proud of how much you come and progress you did. If you reach that success of your dream you wrote of your young self you said hey past me I did it I DID IT I successfully got my dream.
i know that if i do not make changes in life right now i will fall off, and i have been aware of this for years and been struggling to find my purpose, but... i just can't. it is not possible. i can only sit, and watch, as i fall into nothing
Yo, I’m still in middle school and having advice from people who already experienced HS helps a lot. Even though I might still be young, I don’t know what I want to do later on, I love basketball, drawing, anime, gaming, but school is something I struggle with, same with sports. I’m not the best, I didn’t make the team this year but I’ll keep trying. Even though this video might not help me now, it will help me later. So thank you Berto, you’re awesome man.
Powerful story bro. I just graduated high school a couple months back, and I really needed to hear something like this. The whole "spend 20 minutes a day" thing really helps my thought process, because from what I've even noticed from my own experience, once you at least START doing something you're passionate about, you start carving out more time for that thing. If you're really passionate about something, then you'll make time, even if all you got is just a few minutes a day right now. For me, my passions are also music/content creation, so I can relate to you on that level. I was never a really sporty kid tho, but in my own way I kinda feel like I may have peaked in high school since I was doing all kinds of flashy music things at my school's concerts that people thought were cool but weren't actually a good reflection of how good I was at music. Sure, I put in HOURS of work just for one 5 minute performance, but other than that, I basically didn't practice piano much, at least not what I should have been. I don't think I lost that time, but I definitely could have made it more efficient. Not to mention, there were plenty of other problems I had that were distracting me, so I was more or less just trying to impress people with flashy performances. But now that I'm out of high school, (and even though I knew this the whole time but couldn't get most people to understand this) it really sinks in just how bad at music I am, and how much farther I have to develop my skills to even be given a second thought in the music industry. It's truly humbling to finally be able to start seeing the "real" world (even though I hate that phrase, because everything is really the "real" world, so I think it's an unhealthy mindset to be in in the first place). But now I just gotta lock in bro 💪
Im a black woman on my self love journey and i really appreciated this video, also how you uplift black men to do more ❤ it’s a great video I subbed and I wish u the best in your content creation journey 🎉
I was pretty much in this Goku's position throughout all of middle school through high school. Low confidence, low self-esteem, no friends, no interests, just playing video games to escape my shitty reality. Many times, I imagined my future self hitting a dead end in life and shooting himself. I thought that was the most likely outcome for me, and I was fine with that. For someone so young to be thinking like that is clearly a red flag. Mid-junior year, I found something I was actually passionate about, and gave me something to work towards in life. That was the first step I took that really made a huge difference. 3 years after graduation and I'm working towards a career that I'm interested in. I've still got a ways to go with my mental health, but compared to back then, I'm WAY happier with myself than before. Graduating high school was just the beginning for me.
I'm a smart guy. I always got grades in school, high school without study or something like that. But i really don't care for it. I like learn what i like and WHEN i like. I'm working in a pizzeria now and buying a new Pc and eventually work at home. School really doesn't matter.
Honestly, for those who peaked in high school, I think it’s needed. you need a reality check that the world does not revolve around you because a lot of the people who were peak in high school were straight up assholes and considerate of other people and only once they’ve been brought down to that level. Will they truly understand what it’s like on the other side I think a little fall from Grace will teach humility for a lot of people.
At 23 right now, there’s still tons of stuff I’m trying to figure out, but all I will say is my life became way more exciting and adventurous after high school than in high school. Still filled with confusion and troubles, but pursuing things hard feels great.
Thank you for the advice. In a few hours I start my first day of senior year and its going to be a big year. Tomorrow I start a welding program. I do welding in the morning at another school then I come back to my high school in the afternoon. Also I started a part time job yesterday. And over the summer I worked and started a bank account. Currently I have a permit and in a few months hopefully I get my lisence. I like to exercise daily. Lifting, jumping rope, doing abs, legs, and I do karate. Sorry I just yapped but just wanted to share my passions and what I do
real stuff going to high school next year watching these videos really showing how I should have my mentality I don't wanna regret anything in the future
growing up as a kid i never really tried on my grades because i was always making good grades despite never even doing little things like homework but now im a freshmen and my grades are the lowest ive ever seen them i dont even know if imma pass or not. This video is really encouraging me to do better because i know its not too late. Thanks for saying the things that alot of us need to hear.
Didn’t have any ambitions or motivations in school really, I was kind of an awkward quiet kid, I had a decently sized group of friends but most people didn’t like me, now that I’m out of school I’ve had a lot of time to reflect on my past inaction, I feel like I wasted a lot of life even though I was just enjoying my childhood, I wasn’t in any sports or clubs, no extracurricular activities. I have one goal now, and I’ll not waste any more of my life now that I’ve got something to devote myself to.
I am more the Goku guy but i peaked in HS and fell off after. Poor, not social, etc. I was doing the gym, studies, etc sacrificing social life for progress and it was all for nothing. I burned out hard shortly after HS and never recovered. I hate it. It's been 15 years now.
Peaking in high school is probably one of the worst things that could happen to you NGL

I'm glad I haven't peeked in high school which means I can set my goals and dreams and look towards the future with ambition and optimism

Speaking of dbz, look up Akira Toriyama.
It was clever. Sad about what happened to the creator recently. That show was and is iconic!

@LewisKillar Learn how power works and how you will take advantage of it in a positive way.
Me too exact same story
Keep going.

This is liquid gold right here, good shit.
I hope this made sense.

hs is just a small part of your life, that’s why it’s best to live your life in your own timeline/pace. as long as you’re alive that’s what matters most. real success isn’t determined by material and status, but on inner peace and self acceptance
I’m just glad high school isn’t how life is actually gonna be because I just feel so lonely here and it’s tough at least socially.
In my opinion you shouldn’t tell yourself your going to peak one day. Your potential is limitless. Every day you can learn something new. Every day you can get just a little bit stronger.

Yes

I needed this
This video really helped me get back on track on doing what im passionate about.
After high school I floated for a while…
Fast forward I’m now 26 getting married working a trade making 100k a year.

The best quote ive ever heard but don't know where it comes from goes like this. "cool people aren't the ones following the trends. They're the ones making the trend"
No matter how smart you are now, never stop moving forward. If you stay out for too long, you’ll start moving backwards
you don't know how much i needed to hear those words, pressure to be a genius to gain familial validation was breaking my back, "do what u wanna do", thank you.
Realizing this at 23. I can’t live auto pilot anymore
The fear of failure has killed more dreams than failure itself, rather try but fail than not try at all.
I definitely agree with you wyatt you always have to work on yourself bruh if you have a dream or something make it happen

I try to up my peak everyday whether it’s knowledge or fulfillment. I already want to start another job knowing I’m taking 10+ senior classes, learning a new language, exercising more often and just overall grinding in all my aspects of life. I don’t believe in a peak.
i graduated 2 years ago, never peaked in high school but one thing that stuck with me was the fact that i literally made ZERO friends. i only send occasional memes to 1 person and we dont even hang. im in college now and one thing i can say for sure is im way more advanced than i was in high school. started my own animated series project, and im starting my own robotics company which is why im studying computer science now.
i regret not socializing enough as im doing now in college cuz when i graduated people were acting like we was cool, like bro wtf did yall not keep this same energy before the day of graduation? i cant stop thinking about that and often have dreams about it and honestly i should probably seek therapy or sumn idk. its just not an easy task to make friends😭 but my advice to anyone in high school is make some damn friends. if you have some sort of passion make a business out of it because working a 9-5 is ghetto asf. for anyone who peaked in high school, your life literally just began. there's still time to make something of yourself, start small and let go of the past so you can make room for your future. its gonna be hard but you wont have any choice but to adjust to it. you'll be great :) anyways thanks for hearing me vent bye

"because working a 9-5 is ghetto asf"
if you have to work a 9-5 to survive thats just the way it'll be til you reach the goals you've set for yourself, but no need to cast shade on 9-5's wither its a dead end cashier job or high end position.
@@obamabinladin1134 Instead of a 9-5 people just wanna be trappers and scam.

Bro for me falling off after high school will lead to either of just two outcomes: homelessness or death 💀

I've waited my time out (13 years), and now I'm getting stronger and better at what I love. But just thought I'd tell you, don't give up! You got this!

Graduating high school was just the beginning for me.
what were u passionate abt?
This was truly beautiful. Thank you 💪🏾💯. Keep going ! Proud of you!

Live your life man! Try new shit find what works for you 💯
growing up as a kid i never really tried on my grades because i was always making good grades despite never even doing little things like homework but now im a freshmen and my grades are the lowest ive ever seen them i dont even know if imma pass or not. This video is really encouraging me to do better because i know its not too late. Thanks for saying the things that alot of us need to hear.
This advice is a blessing! Never forget that.😊
Didn’t have any ambitions or motivations in school really, I was kind of an awkward quiet kid, I had a decently sized group of friends but most people didn’t like me, now that I’m out of school I’ve had a lot of time to reflect on my past inaction, I feel like I wasted a lot of life even though I was just enjoying my childhood, I wasn’t in any sports or clubs, no extracurricular activities. I have one goal now, and I’ll not waste any more of my life now that I’ve got something to devote myself to.
Really appreciate the stories and advice for life

I am more the Goku guy but i peaked in HS and fell off after. Poor, not social, etc. I was doing the gym, studies, etc sacrificing social life for progress and it was all for nothing. I burned out hard shortly after HS and never recovered. I hate it. It's been 15 years now.
Everyone goes trough diffrent circumstances
damn
how do you know it was all for nothing? what were u working torward?
