First of all, I believe and do fast. However, "A dimension BEYOND praying?" Next level? Fresh Revelation? Breakthrough? Divine impartation? Jezebel Spirit? Destiny altering annointing? Opinion to dominion? Create something in your own life? You can get something stirred in the spirit? A spirit of fasting? You command us to be blessed? Our destiny is waiting? Go get your answer? NONE of these terms or phrases are BIBLICAL and in my opinion, allude to a gnostic and New Age belief system. GOD PARTED THE JORDON, not Moses, not Elijah, not Joshua. They did nothing out of having dominion. God delivered His people. Teach us to PRAY? Jesus taught the apostles the "OUR FATHER." Jesus rebukes.... Jesus speaks things into and out of existence. Not because it's a formula. He was teaching the Apostles to trust in Him on the boat, building their confidence in HIM and the signs were to point to Him being the Messiah. Miracles done back then were used to point to God and to show Israel His will was being done on earth and too sure them, they were His people; regardless of how many days they fasted. Fasting is for us; yes, it's a consecration to the Lord....it's not used by us to bully God into to doing something FOR us. Elijah was human....In my opinion, His humanness wasn't a SIGN to fast. Please stop planting yourself and us into the Bible. Elijah's life story is about pointing to the Lord's majestic power in Elijah's weakness. The LORD enabled Elijah to fast and Elijah's story isn't prescriptive. His story unfolds a part of God's plan in history of the Jewish people. The Lord isn't asking you or me to fast 40 days. And....Impartation comes from the LORD; it was part of Israel's history. MANY people can't fast for 40 days; does this make them less holy or committed to the Lord? Please stop setting up a cast system within the Christian community. It's divisive, dangerous for some and demeaning to the body of Christ. It also infers that we are the ones that can move God's hand. HE is sovereign and His will is done with or without us.
