He's now playing like he was during the world junior. People forget the hype around Dahlin before the draft, it was crazy. He's only getting better every year, I think he will be the best defenseman in the league for a long time.
I hope so and to be honest. If he didn't miss those games due to an injury he's a Norris candidate and possibly winner.

These guys have a such a hard-on for this kid when every single shot he takes flies way over the net, and hes way to aggressive and offensive of a defensemen. That shit isn't going to work at the NHL level. I know he will be great eventually as he gets older, but with the number two pick, I am afraid Buffalo will pass on Dahlin and take the real number 1 of this draft, Svechnikov.

Looks to be elite in everything except for his shot. No accuracy what so ever. The term generational is used to lightly now. What a beauty Pettersson is as well. Not even his clip video yet he stood out amazingly.
Of course he is aware of that, in 1-2 years the shot is where it should be..
That is true but players usually have an elite shot or they don't. I don't see Dahlin ever having an elite shot. He'll be more of a 10 goal, 50 assist guy (which is still amazing).

He's said his two main goals for this off-season are improving his shot and adding more muscle.
Jonas Mattsson I've been watching more of him since I left my last comment he doesn't really need to bulk up so much he's such a great skater that he gets himself into excellent body contact defensive positions so well that he doesn't need the throw Big Bone crunching body checks and risk injuries he's not a Dion Phaneuf Orr EST Dustin Byfuglien he's more of a Paul Coffey or Scott niedermayer or dare I say Bobby Orr but I think that with a big Improvement on his shot he can be one of the highest scoring defenseman of all time
all I know is that if I had first pick I don't care how desperate I am 4 A Center or Winger there's no chance in a lifetime I would pass up on drafting him first overall
He can improve it but I think offensively he'll have more of a playmaking role, setting up Eichel and Mittelstadt.
